Titel: SignalleuchteTitle: Signal light
The invention relates to a signal light with a light source and a lamp body surrounding it, according to the preamble of claim 1.
Generic signal lights have the disadvantage that they are very inflexible to use, i.e. the respective physical design determines whether the signal light can only be used as a floor, wall or mobile signal light. Furthermore, the type of signal emitted is predetermined by the respective design of the known signal lights.
It is an object of the present invention to provide an improved signal light of the above-mentioned type which eliminates the above-mentioned disadvantages.
This object is achieved by a signal light of the above-mentioned type with the features characterized in claim 1.
For this purpose, the invention provides that the lamp body comprises at least two module bodies which are detachably connected to one another.
Hierbei ist eine funktioneile Ausgestaltung der Signalleuchte nicht festgelegt, sondern kann durch die lösbare VerbindungThis has the advantage that a signal light is available that can be individually adapted to a wide range of application conditions and requirements by combining the appropriate module bodies. The functional design of the signal light is not fixed, but can be adapted to the requirements of the user by means of the detachable connection.
Dadurch ist die erfindungsgemäße Signalleuchte auf unterschiedlichste Weisen und für unterschiedlichste Einsatzzwecke einsetzbar und anpaßbar für unterschiedlichste Einsatzbedingungen und Einsatzzwecke.can be changed at any time, even during use, and thus adapted to changing environmental conditions. This means that the signal light according to the invention can be used in a wide variety of ways and for a wide variety of purposes and can be adapted to a wide variety of operating conditions and purposes.
Eine einfach zu bedienende und kostengünstige lösbare
Verbindung zwischen den Modulkörpern wird dadurch erzielt,
daß diese eine Steck- oder Schraubverbindung
ist.An easy-to-use and cost-effective solution
Connection between the module bodies is achieved by
that this is a plug or screw connection
is.
Zweckmäßigerweise umfaßt die lösbare Verbindung zwischen
den Modulkörpern einen Bajonettverschluß.Conveniently, the detachable connection between
the module bodies have a bayonet lock.
A simple modular design with safe and reliable
Connections are achieved by
detachable connection an intermediate body, in particular
a ring body which is arranged between two module bodies which are detachably connected to one another. This connection enables the module bodies to be separated from one another in order to form a signal light, for example by using a corresponding number of ring bodies
with two module bodies to expand to a signal light with five module bodies.
der funktionellen Ausgestaltung der Signalleuchte realisiert .Because all module bodies are identically designed
is a modular system with improved flexibility in terms of
the functional design of the signal light.
In a preferred embodiment, the module body is toroidal, in particular cylindrical or oval or polygonal in cross section.
To close off the luminous element, a module body is preferably designed as a base body, which is arranged as a closure at a vertically lower end of the luminous element and is detachably connected to a module body.
For simple and appropriate fastening or mounting of the signal light, for example on a wall, a machine or a vehicle, a base is particularly preferably arranged on the base body, which preferably has a mounting plate and is made of stainless steel, for example.
For a further closure of the luminous element, a module body is preferably designed as a closure body which is detachably connected to a module body.
To achieve a 360-degree all-round signal effect, the module body is designed to be translucent all around.
Color variability is ensured by the fact that the module body is colored. Depending on the intended use, module bodies of different or the same color can be combined with one another. These colors include, for example, red, yellow, orange, green, blue, white and/or clear, whereby a module body can also have different colors in sections.
The module body is preferably made of glass or plastic, in particular polycarbonate or ABS.
A simple, cost-effective multiple light or multiple signal light that can be flexibly adapted to different application conditions is achieved by assigning at least one light source to each module body.
In a particularly preferred embodiment, a lamp holder plate carrying the respective light source is arranged in each module body.
In order to contact the lighting means for supplying electrical energy, a first electrical conductor is provided in each module body, which is in contact with the lighting means and preferably contacts respective corresponding first electrical conductors of adjacent module bodies. For this purpose, the first electrical conductor is expediently a contact rod with a contact tongue for the lighting means and two contact surfaces for contacting first electrical conductors in adjacent module bodies and is advantageously connected to a first pole or a positive pole of an electrical power supply.
Furthermore, a second electrical conductor is expediently provided in each module body, which has contact with the lighting means and preferably establishes an individual connection to a second pole or negative pole of an electrical power supply, independent of the second electrical conductors of the other module bodies.
In a particularly preferred embodiment, an acoustic module is assigned to at least one module body instead of a light source or in addition to the light source. This makes it possible to achieve an acoustic signal effect in addition to the optical one. The acoustic module is expediently arranged in a module body that delimits the light source in the longitudinal direction.
To support a possibly directed radiation of acoustic waves, the module body carrying the acoustic module is provided with a sound-conducting and/or sound-directing end body.
The light source is preferably an incandescent lamp, a halogen lamp or a flash tube/ and is preferably designed as a continuous light, a flashing light or a strobe light.
The lamp has a nominal voltage of 230 volts AC, with a functional range of, for example, -15% to +10% of the nominal voltage and an operating frequency of the lamp of, for example, 50 Hz or 60 Hz.
In another preferred embodiment, the light source has a nominal voltage of 24 volts DC, with a functional range of, for example, -15% to +20% of the nominal voltage.
Preferred further developments of the device are described in claims 2 to 37.
Diese zeigen inThe invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. These show in

Modulkörper 10, 12, 14 und/oder 16,18.The preferred embodiment shown in Fig. IA and IB
a signal lamp 100 according to the invention comprises several module bodies 10, 12, 14, a closing body
module body 16 and a module body 18 designed as a base body. The module bodies 10/12,14, the cover body 16 and the base body 18 together form a luminaire body through which
Light emerges to the outside, preferably with a predetermined
Color is filtered out and passed through, for example by red, blue, orange, and/or green
Module body 10, 12, 14 and/or 16,18.
nicht dargestellten Schrauben für eine Befestigung derIn the embodiment shown, a base 20 with a mounting plate 22 is arranged on the base body 18.
The mounting plate 22 comprises through holes 24, for example for inserting and tightening
not shown screws for fastening the
Signal light 100 on a wall, a floor, a machine or a motor vehicle. Instead of the base 20, the base body 18 can also be arranged directly on a mounting plate 22 or additional mounting brackets (not shown) are provided, for example for vertical mounting of the signal light 100 on a vertical wall.
Die Ringkörper 26 bis 32 dienen somit als Verknüpfungsglied für die Modulkörper 10, 12, 14.The module bodies 10, 12 and 14 are detachably connected to one another by means of intermediate bodies in the form of ring bodies 26, 28, 30 and 32. This detachable connection can be seen in particular in Fig. 2A in conjunction with Figs. 3 and 4. On one side of the module bodies 10, 12, 14, locking cams 34 engage in corresponding recesses in the ring bodies 26 to 32. On a correspondingly opposite side of the module bodies 10, 12, 14, spring elements 36 with, for example, dovetail-shaped elevations 38 are formed, which engage in corresponding grooves on the ring bodies 26 to 32. In this way, a spring-groove locking connection is created at these points between the ring bodies 26 to 32 and the respective module bodies 10, 12, 14. The locking cams 34 preferably engage in the manner of a bayonet lock in recesses of the ring bodies 26 to 32, i.e. a plug connection is made by rotating a ring body 26 to 32 with respect to a respective module body 10, 12, 14. The ring bodies 26 to 32 thus serve as a link for the module bodies 10, 12, 14.
Der Bodenkörper 18 weist, wie insbesondere aus Fig. 5A, 5B und 5D bisThe closing body 16 has, as can be seen in particular from Fig. 2B, spring elements 38 with elevations 38 analogous to the module bodies 10, 12, 14. The base body 18 has, as can be seen in particular from Fig. 5A, 5B and 5D to
• ··
5F ersichtlich, analog zu den Modulkörpern 10, 12, 14 Verriegelungsnocken 34 auf. Der Abschlußkörper 16 und der Bodenkörper 18 bilden als besondere Ausführungen der Modulkörper jeweilige axiale Abschlüsse des Leuchtkörpers .5F, analogous to the module bodies 10, 12, 14, locking cams 34. The end body 16 and the base body 18, as special versions of the module bodies, form the respective axial ends of the luminous body.
The signal light 100 according to the invention has, as can be seen from Fig. IA, IB and 2A, a modular structure, wherein the advantageous embodiment of the signal light 100 according to the invention shown consists of three module bodies 10, 12, 14, four ring bodies 26, 28, 30, 32, an upper closure body (cover) 16 and a base body (base module) 18. A maximum of five module bodies 10, 12, 14 can be arranged one above the other, for example, although there is no upper limit to the number of module bodies 10, 12, 14 used.
In order to ensure that the closure body 16 is positioned correctly, it has, as can be seen from Fig. 2C, corresponding guides 40, the geometry, arrangement and design of which only allow a predetermined positioning position. Accidental incorrect assembly and the resulting malfunction of the signal light 100 according to the invention is thus excluded.
Jeder Modulkörper 10, 12, 14 istAs can be seen from Fig. 3 and 4, each module body 10, 12, 14 consists of a hollow cylindrical glass or plastic body, whereby in addition to a circular cross-sectional shape, other geometric cross-sectional shapes are also suitable. The module bodies 10, 12, 14 can have a wide variety of colored designs. Six colors are preferred. Each module body 10, 12, 14 is

The light sources are designed, for example, as a continuous light, flashing light or strobe light, with incandescent lamps, halogen and other lamps and flash tubes being particularly preferred as light sources. As can also be seen in particular from Fig. 4, the module body 10, 12, 14 has light guide means 42 on an inner surface of its cylindrical wall, which support a corresponding optical signal effect.
At an upper end in Fig. 3 and 4, a beveled surface 44 is formed on the module body 10, 12, 14, on which an attached ring body 26 to 32 is supported. In conjunction with the locking cams 34, which engage in recesses in the ring bodies 26 to 32, for example in a bayonet-like manner, this results in a holding force which prevents the locking cams 34 from coming loose from the corresponding recesses in the ring bodies 26 to 32. Instead of the ring body 26 to 32, in an advantageous embodiment, a conical surface 46, for example, is supported on the beveled surface 44 in a corresponding manner at a lower end of the module body 10, 12, 14 in Fig. 4. This means that a force locking the bayonet-like closure is only created when a module body 10, 12, 14 is locked into place at the top of the respective ring body 26 to 32 by means of the aforementioned tongue-groove locking connection. In Fig. 4, the module body 10 placed on the module body 12 is schematically indicated with dashed lines.
A module body 10, 12, 14 can also be designed as an acoustic module. If a sound generator module is used, this is preferably attached vertically or in the Fig.
Zur radialen Schallausbreitung kann dann der Abschlußkörper 16 beispielsweise haubenförmig ausgebildet sein.IB at the top of the overall arrangement. This sound generator module is then covered in the overall arrangement by an upper closing body 16, which contains, for example, a loudspeaker system. For radial sound propagation, the closing body 16 can then be designed in the shape of a hood, for example.
From Fig. 5A to 5F it is clear that the base body 18 has corresponding elements, such as locking cams 34 and inclined surface 44. Furthermore, a central connection flange 48 for the base can be seen from Fig. 5C. In addition, holes 50 are provided for other types of fastening, for example directly screwing the base body 18 onto a machine housing.
Two module bodies 10, 12, 14 are connected and held together by a ring body 26 to 32. This connection enables the module bodies 10, 12, 14 to be separated from one another, for example to expand a signal light 100 with two further module bodies 10, 12, 14 to a signal light 100 with five module bodies 10, 12, 14 using the corresponding number of ring bodies 26 to 32. The uppermost ring body 26 is preferably firmly connected to the end body 16, as can be seen from Fig. 2A.
Abschlußkörper 16 oder Bodenkörper 18, jedoch auch eine glasklare Ausführung und andere Farben kann diese LamEach module body 10, 12, 14 and each end body 16 or base body 18 carries an inserted plate, namely a so-called lamp holder plate or carrier plate 52, which is inserted and consists of the same color as the respective module body 10, 12, 14 or end body 16 or base body 18, but this lamp can also be made of a crystal-clear version and other colors.
penhalterplatte 52 aufweisen. Leitungen.pen holder plate 52. Fig. 6 and 7 show a support plate 52 which is inserted into the upper closure body 16. This support plate 52 is inserted into the upper closure body 16 and has slots 54 and pins 56, which can be seen in particular in Fig. 6 and 7. These serve to accommodate electrical contacts or lines, which are explained in more detail below.
The lights provided in the individual module bodies 10, 12, 14 are to be connected via conductors in such a way that, on the one hand, the module bodies 10, 12, 14 can be separated from one another and, on the other hand, the lights of the individual module bodies 10, 12, 14 are supplied with power. A lamp holder 52 for module bodies 10, 12, 14 is shown in Fig. 8. Fig. 9 shows a schematic of the arrangement of contacts 58 and 60 for lights 62. Fig. 10 and 11 show in detail a contact or electrical conductor 58 and 60.
A first electrical line 58 is formed by first electrical conductors 58 (Fig. 10). Each subsequent contact 58 engages with its edge 64 in a base profile 66 of the contact 58 above it. The tongue 68 in Fig. 10 comes to rest below the light source 62 when the module body 10, 12, 14 is rotated and thus represents the first contact. Each module body 10, 12, 14 is provided with such a contact 58 (Fig. 10) and the contacts 58 of all module bodies 10, 12, 14 engage with one another, in the way indicated in Fig. 9. The contact 58 in Fig. 11 represents, for example, a positive conductor, as indicated in Fig. 9.
A negative conductor is routed for the individual module bodies 10, 12, 14 via separate conductors 60 to the individual modules 10, 12, 14, as shown in Fig. 9. This contact is realized, for example, with a conductor 60 according to Fig. 11. In contrast to the conductor 58 of Fig. 10, this conductor 60 lacks the edge 64, since no contact is made with an adjacent conductor 60.
By means of the corresponding interaction of the conductors 58 and 60 with the slots 54 and pins 56 of the support plate (Fig. 8 and 5F), a corresponding electrical wiring is thus realized, which enables control and energy supply of the lights 62, for example by means of an electronic circuit in each module body 10, 12, 14 or by means of an electrical circuit common to all lights, for example in the base body 18.
Eine bevorzugte Verwendung einer erfindungsWith this flexible modular system, for example, up to five module bodies with six different colors can be easily combined or plugged together for a protection class according to IP 54. The respective combination is not fixed after the first assembly, but can also be changed as often as desired. The different module bodies can realize different signals. For example, a continuous light module with a maximum of 7W, a flashing light module with a maximum of 7W, a flashing light module with a maximum of 0.6 to 1.5 joules or an acoustic module with a maximum of 85 dB (A) is provided, which can be freely and arbitrarily combined to form a signal light. A preferred use of an inventive
The purpose of a signal light is, for example, to emit warning signals or display machine statuses, especially in production lines for electronics manufacturing, laboratories, medical technology or other applications in enclosed spaces. However, applications outside enclosed spaces are also possible. For this purpose, appropriate seals must be provided at the connection points of the detachable connections.
