The invention relates to an attachment in the form of a cover for a screen.

State of the art

Computer workstations are usually monotonous due to their uniform shape and color. Additional equipment, such as loudspeakers and manuscript holders, must be set up or attached next to the workstation and take up additional space on the already limited work surface. Furthermore, the not always optimal setting up of computer screens can lead to glare on the monitor, which can have a harmful effect on the health of employees in the long term.

The object of the invention is therefore to create a panel that can be easily attached to the front frame of a display device and that can have additional devices, such as loudspeakers and manuscript holders.

The attachment has the shape of a panel, whereby the panel has a cutout for the screen, which essentially surrounds the visible part of the screen. The panel is attached to the front frame of the display device facing the operator,

and has fastening means that ensure a connection that is essentially immovable but can be removed at any time. It is made of plastic or sheet metal and has an arbitrarily shaped outer contour and any color combination. The cover is attached to the front frame of the screen device using Velcro or by means of retaining clips integrated into the cover, so that it is immovable but can be removed at any time. As an alternative to these fastening means, it is also possible to design the cover so that its clear dimensions correspond to the outer dimensions of the frame and the cover is therefore simply placed on the frame.

The external shape of the panel can be designed so that it functions as a privacy screen and/or glare protection. It is also possible to provide openings and/or brackets in the panel that can accommodate loudspeakers and manuscript holders, for example.

i 1 first description of the invention

In Fig. 1, a screen device 10 is shown with a panel 20 placed on the front frame 12 of the screen device 10. The panel 20 can be of any

Fig. 2b shows the fastening of the cover 20 to the frame 12 by means of elastic retaining clips 22 connected in one piece with the cover 20. The retaining clips 22 grip behind the frame 12 and thus attach the cover 20 firmly to the display device.
