The invention relates to an impact sound-absorbing surface element for arrangement between a screed floor and a hard subsurface.
For example, surface elements made of polystyrene are used to dampen impact sound between a screed floor, especially a flowing screed floor, and a hard subfloor. These well-known surface elements are so dimensional stable that they can only be used as flat products or in panel form. Another disadvantage of these well-known impact sound-damping surface elements is that they are susceptible to breakage. In addition, the impact sound-damping properties of such well-known surface elements made of polystyrene still leave something to be desired.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein trittschalldämpfendes Flächenelement der eingangs genannten Art zu schaffen, das die beschriebenen Mangel nicht aufweist, d.h. das vergleichsweise bruchfest und relativ einfach verarbeitbarThe invention is based on the object of creating an impact sound-absorbing surface element of the type mentioned above that does not have the defects described, i.e. that is comparatively break-resistant and relatively easy to process

ist, wobei gleichzeitig die Trittschall-Dämpfungseigenschaften wesentlich verbessert sind.while at the same time the impact sound dampening properties are significantly improved.
This object is achieved according to the invention in a surface element of the type mentioned at the outset in that the surface element has at least one layer of foamed polyethylene and a sound insulation layer connected to this layer, which are connected to one another to form a composite material having a certain flexibility.
Due to its flexibility, the surface element according to the invention can be used as a roll or web product. It is of course also possible to use the surface element according to the invention as a sheet product or as a cut piece.
It is preferred if, in the surface element according to the invention, the sound insulation layer is connected to a layer of foamed polyethylene on its two main surfaces facing away from one another. The/each layer of foamed polyethylene can be connected to the sound insulation layer over a surface area. This surface connection of the/each layer of foamed polyethylene to the sound insulation layer can be realized by gluing or welding.
In the surface element according to the invention, the/each layer can consist of cross-linked polyethylene, but from an environmental or recycling perspective it is preferred if the/each layer consists of uncross-linked polyethylene.
Ein derartiges Flächenelement weist vergleichsweise guteThe sound insulation layer in the surface element according to the invention can consist of foamed polystyrene. Such a surface element has comparatively good
Impact sound insulation properties. A surface element according to the invention has further improved impact sound insulation properties, in which the sound insulation layer consists of an air- and gas-tight air chamber film layer. Such air- and gas-tight air chamber film layers are used, for example, in the packaging of high-quality goods such as computers or the like. They are therefore readily available on the market.
Es zeigen:Further details, features and advantages emerge from the following description of two embodiments of the impact sound-absorbing surface element according to the invention, shown schematically in sections in a sectional view in the drawing. They show:
Fig. 1 nicht maßstabsgerecht eine erste Ausbildung des trittschalldämpfenden Flächenelementes, undFig. 1 not to scale a first embodiment of the impact sound-absorbing surface element, and
Fig. 2 shows a second embodiment of the impact sound-absorbing surface element in a section-wise sectional view similar to Fig. 1.
Fig. 1 shows a first embodiment of the impact sound-absorbing surface element 10, which has a sound-insulating layer 12 made of foamed polystyrene and two layers 14 made of foamed polyethylene, between which the sound-insulating layer 12 is provided. The two layers of foamed polyethylene are glued or welded to the two main surfaces 16 of the central sound-insulating layer facing away from one another, so that a corresponding composite surface element 10 with a certain flexibility is produced.
In the embodiment of the surface element 10 shown in the drawing in Fig. 1, the sound insulation layer consists of foamed polystyrene. In contrast, Fig. 2 shows a design of the impact sound-absorbing surface element 10 in which the sound insulation layer 12 provided between the two layers 14 made of foamed polyethylene consists of an air- and gas-tight air chamber film layer 18. The known, commercially available air chamber film layer 18 consists of a central dimpled film 20 and two cover films 22 connected to the dimpled film 20. The air chamber film layer is designed in such a way that the air contained in it is permanently prevented from escaping. This can be achieved, for example, by suitable coatings of the dimpled film 20 and/or the cover films 22.
Measurements on surface elements 10 according to Fig. 1 and according to Fig. have led to the values given in Tables 1 and 2, whereby the surface element according to Fig. 1 had a total thickness of 9 mm and the surface element 10 according to Fig. 2 had a total thickness of 5.5 mm.
