The present invention relates to a clothes and laundry hanger made of plastic with a hanger body, a hanger hook and at least one trouser bar.

Such coat hangers are well known.

The trouser bars of known clothes hangers are usually covered with a foam element. This foam element serves to ensure that trousers placed on the hanger do not slip. The rough foam material largely prevents trousers placed on the hanger from slipping. However, this effect diminishes as the hanger gets older, so that additional clamps must be placed on the hanger or trouser bar to keep trousers from slipping. Another disadvantage of the known foam coating is that such clothes and clothes hangers are complex to manufacture and therefore incur additional costs. Another problem arises from the fact that such foam pads cannot be recycled, so that a considerable amount of residual waste remains when the clothes and clothes hanger is disposed of.

It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide a laundry and clothes hanger as mentioned above, which ensures uncomplicated and cost-effective production and is also 100% recyclable.

The features of the independent protection claim serve to solve this problem.

The use of thermoplastic ensures easy, quick and cost-effective production, as the thermoplastic can be processed on the plastic injection molding machines used to manufacture clothes and laundry hangers. Additional production steps are not necessary. In addition, the thermoplastics used are sufficiently durable on the one hand and 100% recyclable on the other. In particular, elastomers, 2-component hot melts or polystyrene-based plastics are used as thermoplastics. The thermoplastics mentioned have sufficient adhesive strength or adhesive roughness to hold tight-fitting trousers securely and permanently.

In an advantageous embodiment of the clothes and laundry hanger according to the invention, the jacket surrounding the trouser bar has a U-shape. The closed end of this U-shape points in the direction of the hanger hook, so that no pressure points can occur on the trousers when they are hung up.

Figure 1 shows a schematic representation of a clothes and laundry hanger 10. The clothes and laundry hanger 10 comprises

a hanger hook 12, a hanger body 14 and a trouser bar 16. The trouser bar 16 can be hollow or solid. It is also possible to attach the trouser bar 16 firmly or detachably to the hanger body. The trouser bar 16 is attached to the opposite ends of the hanger body 20, 22 of the hanger body 14. The hanger hook 12 is usually made of metal, but can also be made of plastic. The hanger body 14 and the trouser bar 16 are made of plastic.

Figure 2 shows the trouser bar 16 in a schematic sectional drawing. It can be seen that the trouser bar according to the embodiment is hollow and has a U-shape. The trouser bar 16 is almost completely surrounded by a jacket 18 made of thermoplastic material. The jacket 18 lies against the outer surface of the trouser bar 16.

The thermoplastic can be an elastomer, a 2-component hot melt or a polystyrene-based plastic. Two characteristic features of the thermoplastic used are its ability to be injected and its ability to be recycled.

It can also be seen that the jacket 18 is also U-shaped. The shape of the jacket 18 is determined in particular by the shape of the trouser bar 16.
