Kfz - Starterbatterien üblicher Bauart bestehen äußerlich aus dem Batteriegehäuse und einem Pluspol und einem Minuspol. Um eine entladene Kfz - Batterie fremd zu starten, werden handelsübliche Startliilfekabel mit federbelasteten Anschlußklemmen benutzt. Es kommt hierbei immer wieder vor, daß durch Verwechslung der Pole, es zur endgültigen Zerstörung der Kfz - Batterie kommt.
