In dem Patent 295857 ist eine Taschenlampe mit Abblendevorrichtung angegeben, bei der durch eine drehbare Blende, eventuell unter Zuhilfenahme eines gleichfalls drehbaren Reflektors, die Lichtstrahlen je nach Bedarf nach vorn oder nach unten gerichtet werden. Wenn es auch möglich ist, durch die in dem Hauptpatent angegebene zweiteilige Blende, die auch aus mehr als zwei Teilen angefertigt werden kann, das Licht schräg nach unten zu schicken und jeden Lichtschein nach vorn zu vermeiden, so ist es doch in vielen Fällen erwünscht, noch eine weitere Dämpfung des Lichtes vorzunehmen, entweder dadurch, daß das austretende Strahlenbündel schmäler gemacht wird, oder daß dieses als ganzes gedämpft wird. Gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung wird deshalb die Taschenlampe mit einem weiteren Blendenteil versehen, der von unten hervorgeholt werden kann, und der entweder durch eine Öffnung oder einen Schlitz das Strahlenbündel kleiner macht, oder die dadurch, daß sie aus einem lichtdämpfenden Stoff gefertigt ist, die Helligkeit der Lampe verdunkelt. Die beiliegende Zeichnung einer Beleuchtungsvorrichtung für Taschenlampen, wie sie in dem Patent 295857 angegeben ist, zeigt die Blende α in zwei Lagen; in Fig. ι tritt sie in das Gehäuse der Taschenlampe zurück, während sie in Fig. 2 teilweise hervorgezogen ist. Die Blende α kann sowohl aus einem lichtdämpfenden Material bestehen, als auch mit Lichtaustrittsöffnungen in beliebiger Form und Zahl versehen sein, die den Austrittsquerschnitt der Lichtstrahlen gegenüber der Lampe ohne Blende verringern.Patent 295857 specifies a flashlight with a dimming device in which the light beams are directed forwards or downwards as required by means of a rotatable screen, possibly with the aid of a likewise rotatable reflector.
