Description

■■Außenfilter für Gartenteiche nach dem Mehrkammerüberströmprinzip"■■External filter for garden ponds based on the multi-chamber overflow principle"

The utility model relates to a filter for garden ponds which removes coarse and fine particles, including floating algae (water bloom), from the pond water by arranging several filter chambers and by flowing over various filter materials.

The filter was developed as an external filter for the purification of garden ponds that are specifically contaminated by fish and algae growth. The advantage over existing filters is the multi-chamber arrangement, which enables targeted filtering of coarse and fine particles, the checking of the filter condition by simple visual inspection and the operational reliability, since a saturated filter does not reduce the flow and therefore does not destroy the inlet pump.

Darin zeigt:The function is described below using the attached drawings. It shows:

Fig. 1: Ansicht einer möglichen Ausführung des Außenfilters Fig. 2: Ansicht einer möglichen Ausführung des Innenkörpers Fig. 3: Seitenansicht einer möglichen Ausführung des AußenfiltersFig. 1: View of a possible design of the external filter Fig. 2: View of a possible design of the inner body Fig. 3: Side view of a possible design of the external filter

The pond filter consists of the outer body (1) and the insert (2) in which the filter materials (10), (11) and (12) are placed. The tightness is ensured by an O-ring (14) and screw connection (15).

The water level inside the coarse filter chamber (3) rises due to the constant inflow. The meandering coarse filter material (10) filters out larger particles from the pond water, so that when it overflows into the fine filter chamber 1 (4), a large proportion of the dirt particles have already been removed. The overflow into the fine filter chamber 1 (4) takes place at the flow-engineered overflow plate 1 (6). When it overflows into the fine filter chamber 1 (4), the pond water is guided centrally over the ascending fine filter material (11) of the fine filter chamber 1 (4). The water is evenly distributed over the fine filter material (11), is cleaned and flows over the sieve (8) into the fine filter chamber 1 (4). Now the fine filter chamber 1 (4) fills up to the overflow to the fine filter chamber 2 (5). After passing the overflow plate 2 (7), the cleaning process repeats itself as described in the fine filter chamber 1 (4). After flowing over the fine filter material (12) and draining through the sieve (9), the cleaned pond water returns to the pond via the pond water drain (17). The condition of the filter materials (10), (11) and (12) can be checked at any time by looking into the system through the sight glass (13).

When the filter materials (10), (11) and (12) are saturated, cleaning no longer takes place, but there are also no consequences for the inlet pump and filter.
