Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kreuzbartschlüssel-Schloßsystem, bei dem der Schlüssel vier Schenkel aufweist, die im wesentlichen rechtwinklig zueinander angeordnet sind und bei dem der Schlüsselkanal den Schenkeln entsprechende Kanalteile aufweist und einer der Kanalteile eine Breite besitzt, die größer ist als die Breite der übrigen Kanalteile. Der Kerngedanke der Erfindung liegt darin, daß mit dem erfindungsgemäßen System beispielsweise Räume gesichert werden können, bei denen der breitere Kanalteil des Schließzylinders eine Profilierung aufweist. In diesen Schließzylinder ist dann ein Kreuzbartschlüssel einführbar, der ebenfalls in dem zugeordneten Schenkel eine Profilierung besitzt. Andererseits können mit diesem Schlüssel, bei dem der dem breiteren Kanalteil zugeordnete Schenkel ein Profil aufweist auch Schließzylinder betätigt werden, bei denen der breitere Kanal keine Profilierung aufweist, also glattwandig ist. Somit kann ein Inhaber eines im Sinne der Erfindung profilierten Schlüssels sowohl einen entsprechend profilierten Schließzylinder betätigen wie auch einen solchen der keine Profilierung aufweist, bei dem aber selbstverständlich die Breite des breiteren Schlüsselkanals der Gesamtbreite des profilierten Schenkels des Schlüssels entspricht.The core idea of the invention is that the system according to the invention can be used to secure rooms, for example, in which the wider channel part of the locking cylinder has a profile. Unter Berücksichtigung der eingangs gestellten Aufgabe ist es aber nun auch möglich, den Schließzylinder so auszubilden, daß der Schlüsselkanal wiederum die Kanalteile 7, 8 und 9 aufweist und ein entsprechendes breiteres Kanalteil 10', wobei dieses aber keine Profilierung besitzt. Die Gesamtbreite dieses Kanalteiles 10' ist abgestimmt auf die Gesamtbreite des profilierten Schenkels 5 des Schlüssels. Würde man von einer &ldquor;alten" Anlage ausgehen, also mit Schließzylindern im Sinne der Figur 3, so würde umgekehrt die gesamte Breite des profilierten Schenkels 5 der Breite des nichtprofilierten Kanalteiles 10 entsprechen. Es ist nun ohne weiteres ersichtlich, daß der Schlüssel gemäß Figur 2 nicht nur in den Schlüsselkanal gemäß Figur 1, sondern auch in den Schlüsselkanal gemäß Figur 3 einführbar ist. Hier sind ebenfalls die Schenkel 2, 3 und 4 vorhanden sowie der Schenkel 5', der aber nicht profiliert ist. Die Gesamtbreite dieses Schenkels 5' entspricht selbstverständlich der Gesamtbreite des Kanalteiles 10'. Mit diesem Schlüssel kann zwar das Schloß gemäß Figur 3 betätigt werden, nicht aber gemäß Figur 1. Damit ist durch die erfindungsgemäße Lösung eine wesentliche Vereinfachung im Sinne der gestellten Aufgabe geschaffen worden.On the other hand, a locking cylinder according to Figure 3 has a key as indicated in Figure 4.
