This impact protection is the optimal solution in terms of effectiveness and price and can be used universally, for example in car, motorcycle and ski races.

The purpose of this impact protection, which consists of individual foam segments arranged one after the other (Figure 1), is to absorb as much of the impact energy as possible during an impact and to safely catch the racing driver and his sports equipment in order to reduce or prevent injuries.
