Abstract

Cargo bike cargo space facility, comprising a cargo space (1) and a flap element (2) arranged on a wall of the cargo space (1) and which is hinged about an axis (2.1) running horizontally when the cargo bike is traveling straight ahead, characterized in that the axis (2.1) when the cargo bike is used as intended, viewed in a vertical direction at a distance of at least 15 cm from both a highest and a lowest point of the wall of the loading space (1).

Description

The invention relates to a cargo bike storage facility according to the preamble of claim 1.

A cargo bike storage device of the type mentioned is from the patent document EP 3 066 011 B1 (see there in particular 14 , page 25 and paragraph [0050]). This consists of a loading space and a flap element which is arranged on a wall of the loading space and is mounted such that it can be folded about an axis which runs horizontally when the cargo bike is traveling straight ahead. In this solution, the flap element serves to cover a small luggage compartment positioned behind the seat.

The object of the invention is to improve a cargo bike loading space facility of the type mentioned at the outset. In particular, a particularly flexible cargo bike storage facility is to be created.

This object is achieved with a cargo bike storage facility of the type mentioned by the features mentioned in the characterizing part of claim 1.

According to the invention it is therefore provided that the axis of the flap element is arranged to run at a distance of at least 15 cm from both a highest and a lowest point of the wall of the cargo space when the cargo bike is used as intended in the vertical direction.

In other words, the solution according to the invention is characterized in that, thanks to the pivotability of the flap element about a lower-lying axis, luggage compartments of different sizes can now be fixed within the luggage compartment as required. With a flap element positioned at an angle of less than approximately 45° to the horizontal, it is possible, for example and in particular, to use the luggage space above the flap element without disturbing the luggage space below the flap element. If, for example, sensitive transport goods are not to be placed on top of each other (e.g. flowers, tomatoes, fruit or the like) or if the luggage compartment under the flap element is used as leg room for one or more passengers, the luggage compartment above the flap element can be used for the luggage or the purchases are used. In addition, the flap element can also be used very well as a table for children's toys or for a laptop or the like.

The proviso used above “when the cargo bike is used as intended” is to be understood as meaning a position of the cargo bike in space as it occurs when the cargo bike is driving straight ahead.

Other advantageous developments of the cargo bike storage facility according to the invention result from the dependent claims.

For completeness, reference is made to the patent document DE 10 2018 128 629 A1 (see there in particular 13 ) pointed out. In this solution, the flap element is used to partially cover the loading space.

The cargo bike storage facility according to the invention, including its advantageous developments according to the dependent claims, is explained in more detail below with reference to the graphic representation of a preferred exemplary embodiment.

The cargo bike cargo space facility shown in the figures initially consists, in a manner known per se, of a cargo space 1 and a flap element 2 arranged on a wall of the cargo space 1, which is hinged about a horizontal axis 2.1 when the cargo bike is traveling straight ahead. The wall does not mean the floor of the loading space 1 .

Thereby, as in the 2.1 and 2.2 shown, particularly preferably provided that the loading space 1 is designed to accommodate a seated person, in particular a child. It is also preferably provided that a seat element 5 arranged in the loading space 1 is arranged on the rear wheel side in the loading space 1 .

Furthermore, it is particularly preferred that the loading space 1 is designed like a trough, the upper edge of the trough being in the 2 until 4 is not shown separately; it is located (compare 1 with the 2 until 4 ) approximately at the level of an upper end of a or the so-called (front wheel side) control tube.

It is now essential for the cargo bike storage facility according to the invention that the axis 2.1, when the cargo bike is used as intended, viewed in the vertical direction at a distance of at least 15 cm, preferably at least 20 cm, particularly preferably at least 25 cm, from both a highest and a lowest point the wall of the cargo space 1 is arranged to run. The axis 2.1 is therefore arranged at least 15 cm above the lowest point and at least 15 cm below the highest point, preferably in relation to a loading interior side of the wall. In order to always be able to ensure legroom, it is also preferably provided that the flap element 2 is designed so that it can only be folded upwards from a horizontal plane when the cargo bike is used as intended 2 , 3 and 4 .

Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the flap element 2 is arranged completely within the loading space 1 in each of its possible folding positions. The flap element 2 is therefore always below the upper edge 1.1 of the trough already mentioned above.

Furthermore, with reference to 1 A support element 3 for the flap element 2, which preferably also serves as a handle, is provided in the loading space 1, preferably to define the aforementioned horizontal plane.

Although shown only schematically, a fixing element 4 is preferably provided for holding the flap element 2 in an upper flap position (see FIG 1 and 3 ). This is particularly preferably elastic. In addition, this preferably belt-like or cord-like fixing element 4 is preferably arranged on an upper edge 1.1 of the loading space 1. What is particularly advantageous about this fixing element 4 is that, for example, a bag or wrapped potted flowers can be held elastically by the flap element 2 and thus cannot slip or fall around in the loading space 1 . It is also preferably provided that one or the upper edge 1.1 of the loading space 1 on the front wheel side is arranged in front of a lower edge 1.2 of the loading space 1 on the front wheel side, seen in the forward direction of travel of the cargo bike. Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the fixing element 4 in the holding position faces away from the axis 2.1 th edge 2.2 of the flap element 2 is formed connected.
