Die einzigen und auch gebräuchlichsten Haltemöglichkeiten für Textilien sind neben Kleiderbügel, Klemm- und Spannhaltern oder Auflegestäben und -Leisten, die bekannten und überall vorhandenen, in unterschiedlichen Größen, Formen und Farben in Erscheinung tretenden Haken, für deren Nutzung es aber grundsätzlich einer Auf- bzw. Anhängeschlaufe oder Öse (im Volksmund auch Henkel) an den zu haltenden Textilteilen bedarf. Reißt diese einmal ab, was bei einigen Textilteilen nicht selten geschient, gibt es bis zur Schadensbehebung, die immer mit Arbeit und folgedessen mit Zeitaufwand'verbunden ist keine Möglichkeit, diese risikolos (bezüglich des Herunterfallens) und ohne Streßauslösung, an oder über einen Haken zu hängen.
