Description Barrel-shaped plastic container

The present invention relates to a barrel-shaped plastic container according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such plastic containers designed as pump shafts are part of pressure drainage systems for the disposal of domestic wastewater.

Such a pump shaft also serves as a collection container for the waste water, from which it is pumped into a pressure pipe.

For this purpose, a submersible pump is installed in the pump shaft.

In order to properly install the pump shafts, which are mostly sunk into the ground, appropriate preparatory work is required.

For example, a flat surface must be created that guarantees that the pump shaft is stable.

For this purpose, a concrete slab is usually poured.

Naturally, this involves a considerable amount of work, which has an adverse effect on the installation costs of the entire system.

Since the submersible pump must be installed in a fixed position, but it is not possible to attach it directly to the bottom of the pump shaft, hanging devices are required on which the submersible pump can be suspended largely free of vibrations.

This also has an adverse effect on the pricing of the system.

The present invention is therefore based on the object of designing a plastic container of the generic type in such a way that its base area is reinforced without additional material expenditure and the usability is improved.

This object is achieved by a plastic container having the features of claim 1.

The invention now makes it possible to prepare the pump shaft in such a way that an on-site foundation plate is no longer required.

In addition, a cavity can be formed on the underside of the pump shaft, which can be filled with a suitable mass, for example concrete.

This gives the entire pump shaft sufficient stability, without any further on-site measures being required to prepare a flat installation surface.

A further advantage of the invention is that the submersible pump can now be attached directly to the bottom of the pump shaft.

It is therefore conceivable to anchor this submersible pump to the concrete filling the base part.

Special sealing measures are not necessary as the outer surface of the base part remains undamaged.

The separate base part can be connected to the side wall of the pump shaft by gluing or welding, which is conveniently done in the manufacturer's factory.

rich surrounding casing can be optimized, which is essentially equivalent to a reduction in wall thickness.

This results in considerable cost savings.

According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the base part is provided with ribs or beads extending into the interior, on which the underside of the plastic container is supported.

This fixes the base part in such a way that it is held in a precise position for attachment to the casing of the plastic container without any special additional measures.

An embodiment of the invention is described below with reference to the accompanying drawing.

The single figure shows a plastic container according to the invention in a partially sectioned side view.

A plastic container shown in the figure is designed as a pump shaft 1, which is preferably manufactured using a rotational process. However, other suitable manufacturing processes are also conceivable.

The underside is formed by a separate base part 2 which is firmly connected to the casing 3 of the pump shaft 1.

The connection can be made by gluing or welding, which is indicated by a circumferential seam 4.

The separate base part 2, the underside of which forms a support surface 8 and runs at a distance from the base 5 of the pump shaft 1, has several bags 6 running parallel to one another, which extend into the interior of the base part 2 and on which the base 5 rests.

The cavity formed between the floor 5 and the support surface 8 is filled with a suitable material, such as concrete or plastic.

This results in a significant increase in stability of the entire floor area.

The invention makes it possible for a pump 7 to be attached directly to the floor 5, so that no further aids are required to arrange the pump 7 in a fixed position.

The use of a plastic container according to the invention is by no means limited to a pump shaft. Rather, such a plastic container can be used anywhere where the greatest possible stability of the floor area is important.
