Durch den geringen Materialaufwand und die kompakte Bauweise der Wandhalterungsvorrichtung entsteht eine kostengünstige und universell einsetzbare Lösung zur Befestigung von Masten, Stäben oder Stangen an einer Wand. Die Wandhalterungsvorrichtung läßt sich zudem sowohl für Eckholmprofile als auch für Rundholmprofile einsetzen. Eine zusätzliche Verankerung im Boden einer Turnhalle entfällt gänzlich. Die bügeiförmigen Elemente sind vorzugsweise als gebogener Metalistab vorgesehen. Als Sicherungsvorrichtung gegen ein Wegkippen eines in die Wandhaiterungsvorrichtung eingefügten Mastes, Stabes oder dergleichen ist das Sicherungselement vorgesehen. Dieses verbindet die beiden bügeiförmigen EIemente und ist vorzugsweise als U-förmiges oder ein Viereck bildendes gebogenes, stabförmiges Metallelement vorgesehen. Es wird so zwischen die beiden bügeiförmigen Elemente der Wandhaiterungsvorrichtung eingehängt, daß es beim Einfügen eines Mastes in die Wandhaiterungsvorrichtung von unten mit dem Mast zusammen nach oben geschoben wird. Das Sicherungselement 17 ist so in die Wandhalterungsvorrichtung eingehängt, daß es beim Einfügen des Mastes 2 in die Wandhalterungsvorrichtung mit dem Mast zusammen nach oben geschoben wird in Richtung auf die obere Knickstelle der Teilstücke 10, 11 und 12,13 zu. Sobald das Sicherungselement 17 dort angelangt, wird es derart umgelenkt, daß es wieder nach unten fällt und die in Fig. 1 gezeigt Position einnimmt.
