Die Neuerang betrifft eine Schachtabdeckung für die im Erdboden untergebrachten Benzin-, Diesel- und ähnlichen Lagerbehälter, deren Regel- und Kontrolleinrichtung in einem leicht zugänglichen, Behälter und Erdoberfläche verbindenden Domschacht untergebracht sind, wobei der Domschacht noch oben hin durch einen ein- oder mehrteiligen Hauptdeckel abgedeckt ist, der gewölbt und zum ihn aufnehmenden und eine Ablaufrinne aufweisenden Deckelrahmen hin ein Gefalle aufweisend und ihn randseitig dachförmig überragend ausgebildet ist.The new development concerns a manhole cover for the petrol, diesel and similar storage containers housed in the ground, the regulation and control equipment of which is housed in an easily accessible dome shaft connecting the container and the ground surface, whereby the dome shaft is covered at the top by a single or multi-part main cover, which is arched and has a gradient towards the cover frame which accommodates it and has a drainage channel, and which projects over it in the shape of a roof at the edge.

Derartige Schachtabdeckungen sind bekannt, wobei aus sicherheitstechnischen Gründen die Schachtabdeckung als solche wasserdicht sein soll, was bedeutet, daß in dem Bereich des Domschachtes Regenwasser und ähnliches nicht eindringen soll. Solche zweiteiligen Schachtabdeckungen sind aus der DE-GM 92 11 733 bekannt, wobei eine Dichtschnur vorgesehen ist, auf der die beiden aufeinanderliegenden Teile der Schachtabdeckung aufliegen. Lediglich beim Öffnen des Hauptdeckels kann eine geringe Menge Wasser bzw. Regen in den Domschacht hineinkommen. Die gesamte Deckelkonstruktion ist so stabil, daß sie von Tankwagen und anderen Fahrzeugen ohne weiteres überfahren werden kann, wobei durch die Verschraubung gleichzeitig auch eine rappelsichere Ausbildung geschaffen ist. Allerdings ist der Aufwand für das Lösen der Verschraubung recht groß, so daß sich derartige Schachtabdeckungen nur dort vertreten lassen, wo Revisionen nur in relativ großen Zeitabständen vorgenommen werden.Such manhole covers are known, but for safety reasons the manhole cover itself should be watertight, which means that rainwater and similar substances should not penetrate into the area of the manhole. Nachteilig ist außerdem, daß der Hauptdeckel mit dem Deckelrahmen verschraubt werden muß, um die zwischen Deckelrahmen und Hauptdeckel angeordnete Dichtschnur zusammenzupressen und so eine wirksame Abdichtung zu erbringen. Nachteilig ist weiter, daß zwangsweise zwischen der Dichtschnur und der verbleibenden Rille zwischen Hauptdeckel und Deckelrahmen Wasser stehen bleibt, das nicht abläuft und das somit eine fortwährende Gefährdung für den Domschacht darstellt. Außerdem ist ein solcher Bereich nur schwierig oder überhaupt nicht sauber zu halten. Es wird nämlich durch den entsprechend überkragenden Rand des Revisionsdeckels auf jeden Fall in den Bereich der Wasserrinne gebracht, um von hieraus weiter abgeleitet zu werden, wobei der höhere Innenrand dafür sorgt, daß es nicht zu einem Überschwappen in den Domschacht kommt. Der Revisionsdeckel hat in diesem Bereich eine Verdickung, die mit dem höheren Innenrand korrespondiert, so daß auch hier in geschickter Art und Weise dafür Sorge getragen ist, daß der Revisionsdeckel beim Auflegen automatisch in die richtige Lage im Hauptdeckel hineinrutscht. Vorteilhaft ist weiter, daß durch die geschickte Formgebung die Handhabung wesentlich erleichtert ist, da der Hauptdeckel und auch eventuell der im Hauptdeckel ruhende Revisionsdeckel quasi automatisch in ihre "Abdicht- und Arbeitsstellung" hineinrutschen. Diese Schlitzkanäle 24, 25 sind in Fig. 4 in sehr breiter Ausführung wiedergegeben. Es wird in der Regel reichen jeweils nur 4 oder sogar nur 2 solche Schlitzkanäle 24, 25 vorzusehen, um die entsprechende Wassermenge abzuführen, wobei sie auch eine deutlich geringere Breite aufweisen, wie in Fig. 5 angedeutet. Dadurch bleibt die Oberfläche auch des Hauptdeckels weitgehend unbeeinflußt, so daß das Begehen dadurch erleichtert ist.
