Device for a flying swan

The invention relates to a device for a fly sponge. When using fly sponges, the fly sponge is held in the hand to clean a dirty window of a vehicle.

This poses a problem because it is not unavoidable, for example, to climb onto the bumper or radiator in order to reach the entire windscreen surface.

It is therefore the object of the invention to remedy this situation and to provide a device for a fly swatter which in particular expands the area of accessibility.

This object is achieved in that the device consists of a holder into which the fly sponge can be clamped, whereby a handle element is formed or arranged on the holder. Further developments of the invention are solved in the subclaims.

Figure 1 shows a device 1 for a fly sponge (not shown in detail). The device 1 consists of a holder 2 into which the fly sponge (not shown in detail) can be clamped. A handle element 3 is formed on the holder 2, as shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2. The holder 2 itself is formed from two clamping elements 4.1 and 4.2, between which the fly sponge is clamped on its peripheral side edges. The clamping elements 4.1 and 4.2 are U-shaped - as can be seen in the side view of Figure 2 - with the front leg 5 of the clamping elements 4.1 and 4.2 in particular being designed as a toothed strip 6.

Clamping elements 4.1 and 4.2 are held. To clamp the fly sponge between the two toothed strips 6 of the clamping elements 4.1 and 4.2, the rear legs 7 of the clamping elements 4.1 and 4.2 are held so that they can be moved against each other, whereby they can be fixed against each other by means of a clamping screw 8. For this purpose, slotted openings 9 are arranged in the leg surfaces 7 so that a corresponding displacement path or clamping path is provided.

The handle element 3 is - as shown in Figure 1, for example - directly molded onto the lower clamping element 4.2. This handle element 3 can also advantageously be designed to be variable in such a way that the length can be extended as required by means of a telescopic extension or by means of attachments.

Figures 3 to 5 show a further embodiment of the device 1 according to the invention. The clamping elements 4.1 and 4.2 are slidably mounted on a base plate 10, with the handle element being arranged on the base plate 10. The clamping elements 4.1 and 4.2 can be secured to one another on the base plate using the existing clamping screws 8. For this purpose, slotted openings 9 are provided on the base plate 10, which allow a certain clamping or locking range of the clamping elements 4.1 and 4.2. To attach the fly sponge, it is first placed on the base plate 10 in a relaxed state, before the clamping elements 4.1 and 4.2 are pressed laterally into the porous structure of the fly sponge in order to then secure the clamping elements 4.1 and 4.2. As an alternative to a clamping screw 8, a spring tension (not shown in detail) can be arranged.

In this way, a device is created which, in particular, significantly expands the accessibility area for a commercially available fly sponge for cleaning windscreens.

Claims (2)

Protection claims 01. Device for a fly sponge, characterized in that the device (1) consists of a holder (2) into which the fly sponge can be clamped, wherein a handle element (3) is formed or arranged on the holder (2). 02. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the holder (2) consists of clamping elements (4.1) and (4.2), between which the side regions of the fly sponge can be clamped. 03. Device according to claim 2, characterized in that the clamping elements (4.1) and (4. 2) are U-shaped, with the front leg (5) being designed as a toothed strip (6). 04. Device according to claim 3, characterized in that the clamping elements (4.1) and (4.2) are mounted so as to be displaceable relative to one another and can be fixed relative to one another by means of a screw or spring tension (8). 05. Device according to one or more of the preceding claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the handle element (3) is connected directly or indirectly to the clamping elements (4.1) and (4.2), the length of the handle element (3) being variable.
