Die Erfindung betrifft eine insbesondere aus Kunststoff gefertigte Armlehne für Dreh- u.dgl. Stühle mit einem Armlehnen-Halter und einer Armauflage.The invention relates to an armrest, made in particular from plastic, for swivel and similar chairs with an armrest holder and an armrest.

Bei der Herstellung derartiger Stühle wurden die Armlehnen einstükkig als Ring-Armlehnen oder als offenendige Armlehnen hergestellt. Der Armlehnen-Halter ist vorteilhaft gabelförmig ausgebildet und mit zwei Haltestreben versehen; die Enden dieser Haltestreben sind als Steckenden ausgebildet. Auf diese Steckenden wird die Armauflage aufgesteckt, so daß auf diese Steckverbindung abgestellte, an sich beliebige Armauflagen mit einem Armlehnen-Halter kombiniert werden können; in gleicher Weise lassen sich selbstverständlich auch unterschiedlich ausgebildete Armlehnen-Halter mit solchen Armauflagen kombinieren, die mit der Steckverbindung vesehen sind. Dabei überbrückt die Armauflage in einem mehr oder weniger gekrümmten Bogen die Öffnung der Gabel des Armlehnen-Halters. Die Enden der Armauflage sind wulstartig ausgebildelt, so daß in diese Endwülste von der Unterseite her Sacklöcher als Stecköffnungen eingebracht werden können, wobei die beiden Stecköffnungen an beiden Enden der Armauflage parallelachsig angeordnet sind. Diese Stecköffnungen korrespondieren mit den Steckenden der Haltestreben des Armlehnen-Halters. Durch diese Ausbildung ergibt sich eine leichte Einführbarkeit der Steckenden in die Stecköffnungen, wobei eine zum Einführen notwendige elastische Verformung der Haltestreben des Armlehnen-Halters aufgrund der Material-Elastizität, insbesondere bei Kunststoff-Ausbildung, infolge der Rückstellkräfte diese Verbindung bereits sichert, da ein Lösen gegen diese Rückstellkräfte erfolgen müßte.The armrest holder is advantageously fork-shaped and provided with two support struts; the ends of these support struts are designed as plug ends. Die Figuren zeigen eine Armlehne 1 für Dreh- u.dgl. Stühle mit Armlehnen-Halter 2 und Armauflage 3, die in der Darstellung nicht zusammengefügt sind, sowie Einzelheiten der Verbindung beider Teile. Der Armlehnen-Halter 2 bildet mit seinen beiden Haltestreben 3 eine Gabel, wobei die nach oben weisenden Haltestreben 3 an ihren freien Enden als Steckenden 4 mit Steckzylindern 5 ausgebildet sind. Die Öffnung der Gabel des Armlehnen-Halters 2 wird von dem Bogenteil 11 der Armstütze 10 überspannt. Dabei erfolgt das Einführen wegen der Geometrie unter einem Zwang, der bei Erreichen des End-Sitzes aufgehoben ist, der jedoch bereits eine hinreichend feste Verbindung von Armlehnen-Halter 2 und Armauflage 10 gewährleistet. Dazu sind die Stecköffnungen 13 sowie die dazu korrespondierenden Steckenden 4 parallelachsig ausgebildet und in Bezug auf ihren Abstand so angeordnet, daß die Steckenden 4 in die Stecköffnungen 13 einführbar und eingeführt festlegbar sind. Dabei sind in nicht zusammengefügten Zustand (wie dargestellt) die Einführ-Öffnungen der Stecköffnungen 13 und die Frontflächen der Steckenden 4 gegeneinander versetzt, entsprechend der Krümmung des Armauflage 10. Dabei befindet sich zwischen Steckzylinder 5 und Rastzunge 6 ein Freiraum 8, der sicherstellt, daß die Rastzunge 6 beim Einstecken des Steckendes 4 in die Stecköffnung 13 ausweichen kann. Die Elastizität des Kunststoffs stellt dabei sicher, daß die Rastzunge 6 bei Erreichen der Rastkante 14 wieder in ihre ursprünglich Lage zurückkehrt und so die Verrastung herstellt.
