Die Erfindung betrifft einen Waschtisch oder dergleichen Sanitäreinrichtung mit mindestens einer im wesentlichen ebenen oder profilierten, mit mindestens einem Waschbecken und/oder anderen dergleichen Sanitärausrüstungen ausgestatteten Waschtischplatte für den Einbau in einer Raumnische, beispielsweise in einem Hotelzimmer, einem Badezimmer oder einer Toilette, wobei die Wäschtischplatte in der Raumnische so vorgesehen ist, daß sie, an deren Rückwand anliegend, von den Seitenwänden der Raumnische flankiert wird. Ein erfindungsgemäßer Waschtisch besteht entsprechend Fig. 1 und 3 aus einer Waschtischplatte 1 und je einer zu beiden Seiten der Waschtischplatte 1 an dieser befestigten Ausgleichsplatte 2.
