Aufbereitung von wasser und Abwasser" Treatment of water and wastewater "
Environmental problems, including the dire situation of the public («Evassev, demanded the publication of an environmental protection program by the Buneesregieruny. In this, improved and new environmentally friendly processing methods for Wanted for water and sewage. These should be as little wastewater and low as possible show water losses, pollute the public waters less and not add salt, allow little or no sludge to accumulate or if it does arise (lem Sludge of this for the recovery of the raw materials used for the treatment process Be eclectic.
According to the present application, there is a common chemical basis the treatment of water and wastewater in the application of free phosphoric acid and a subsequent addition of an alkaline hydroxide, such as that of calcium, Barium or ammonium. By adding one of the hardeners in water equivalent amount of free phosphoric acid and the subsequent addition of one of the alkaline Hydroxides precipitate the hardness builders bound to the phosphoric acid Shifting the pH value to the alkaline side is forced, with the applied Quantitative additions to the precipitate. Earthy and other suspensions are simultaneously recorded adsorptively by the voluminous precipitate and with eliminated. According to the law of mass action, precipitation always takes place only if sufficient hydroxyl ions are present, which is indicated by the addition of one of the above Hydroxides to a distinct alkaline reaction, d. H. at a pH of 9, o applies. This results in the different composition of water the following treatment methods: 1. A water containing only carbonate is used first the stoichiometrically required amount of phosphoric acid is added, followed by the addition of hydrated lime up to the optimal pH value of 9.0 follows.
In the case of only or almost exclusively sulphate content @ in the water, we do it first the stoichiometrically required amount of phosphoric acid and then barium hydroxide (Barite water) added up to the optimum pH value of 9.0.
If the water has a low sulphate content, the same procedure should be followed: that a barium salt, e.g. B. barium carbonate, in the stoichiometrically required Amount of PIiosptoric acid is added dissolved and then with hydrated lime up to working to the optimum pH value of 9.0. The entry of z. 3. Barium carbonate in the phosphoric acid takes place in each case only in the stoichiometrically required amount the sulphate content of the water.
B.A wide> id results from each of these preparation processes Desalinated product water, as apart from the hardness components there are no sulphate ions in the water also the cnemical additives used for its preparation in the cleaning process again. In the future, this will not only relieve us of the problem child p @ ophthalic acid z. B.
Das ist im i.inblick auf den Einsatz von Mineralöl zur Düngemittelnerstellung besonders erwähnenswert.in sewage, but also in detergents, just because of the latter Substitutes were sought and demanded, leading to the detergent law of September 1st 19/5 led. Brines as in the regeneration of ion exchange masses and 3ase exchangers such as B. encouraged, etc., and there are no water losses. That softened and at the same time Clarified water does not leave or form any soluble salts in the purified water, like aluminum and iron salts and sediments, which give off water easily Sludge is used in a known manner to recover the phosphoric acid used or fully suitable as a long-lasting fertilizer. That is in view of the Use of mineral oil for the production of fertilizers is particularly worth mentioning.
Dirty surface water, especially sewage or mixed sewage domestic and industrial origin are analogous. according to the present procedure also to be processed with advantage.
Wastewater is mostly weakly alkaline and because of it becomes temporary The higher pH values that occur in the equalization basin are adjusted to a pH value of 7.0. The raw sewage is pre-precipitated from the sand trap in the clarifier when it is supplied with water kalk @ yerat added up to an optimal pH value of 9.0. The present in the wastewater ends Pollutants are separated from adsorptively more extensively than before. At this The method of treatment is practically always sufficient in the wastewater annoying ingredient phosphoric acid for the first time in wastewater treatment as an auxiliary raw material used instead of a phosphoric acid additive to clarify the wastewater and thereby quantitatively with precipitated. The more phosphoric acid, the greater the clarification success is present in wastewater or for the treatment of dirty surface water eink is set. With a lack of phosphoric acid content in any Sewage, e.g. @. in industrial wastewater or dirty surface water is sufficient an addition of 20-30 g / cbm of free phosphoric acid to carry out the preparation to be able to. The resulting sludge always needs another one before it First send an in-depth test for toxic ingredients. But it will instead of pre-precipitation in the case of wastewater, post-precipitation after the biological stage required, this sludge is also suitable for raw material recovery like the one from the treatment of water. The addition of Kalhlydrat is at this processing method is always lower than with the official procedures, which work with a pH of 11 12. The current procedures for elimination of phosphoric acid consist in the achievement of various special stages or others chemical additives, whereby according to the literature only sludge that can be deposited is obtained. Mostly, however, according to the biblogical stage, it runs either completely or partially through the sewage treatment plant and is thus shipped via the receiving water with the sea as its terminus.
The treatment of wastewater according to the present application clarifies better and faster, thus relieving the subsequent biological stage and is therefore it can be used with advantage with only existing mechanical clarification stages, what in not infrequent cases with at least a temporary waiver of a biological one Level leads to an improvement in surface water more quickly. The note on this better to build only fully-fledged mechanical clarification stages first and only afterwards to let the biological stage follow - if still necessary in all cases, which also deserves attention.
