Grabmaschine mit schwingenden Grabgabeln.Digging machine with swinging digging forks.
In the known digging machines with swinging grave organs (grave forks) lead the forks produce movements in which they remain in a substantially vertical position and therefore unable to lift up the earth that has been cut out. This well-known Opposite digging machines with swinging forks is the present invention in that the forks penetrate approximately vertically into the ground and the cut one Lift up the earth to throw it off before reaching the horizontal position by quickly moving back the forks. Here becomes the gutted earth with the correct choice of the speed of movement of the Forks given an acceleration at the top of the forks as a result of the larger circumference of the range of motion is greater than near the root of the forks. Consequently will the earth, if it is thrown off when the forks go back quickly, not evenly thrown off the forks in their entire extent, but experiences a different acceleration, causing them to hit the ground in a different position falls behind. So it is not a special turning or to reverse the excavated earth Tilting movement of the forks required, which means that the machine

The aforementioned fork movement forming the subject of the invention can, for example can be achieved by the known fork drive, in which at the upper end of the fork holder a crank under mediation a handlebar and at the bottom a crank engages directly. By suitable choice of dimensions and mutual Position of the parts can be carried out with such a drive, the aforementioned fork movement. However, the drive as such does not form the subject of the present invention.
An embodiment of the invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawing.

Springs prevented. 13 are attached to the frame A cleaning organs whose construction and shape are adapted to the nature of the grave organs. According to the drawing, these cleaning members consist of prongs 13, which have such a curvature and have such a position in relation to the path of movement of the fork that they penetrate the fork claws when the fork moves upwards and thereby the fork claws when the fork goes back Clean claws of trapped stones, earth, etc. The shafts 1 and 2 are driven in any way. According to the drawing, a chain 17 and chain wheels 14, 15 and 16 are used for this purpose, the shaft of the wheel 16 being driven by a motor which is used either only for digging alone or also for driving the cart on which the digging machine is set up, is used.
Die beschriebene Maschine arbeitet in folgender Weise: . .The machine described works in the following way:. .
During the simultaneous rotation of the cranks 3, 4 in the direction of the arrows 50, the tip of the fork 10 moves in the path indicated by the dash-dotted line abca, while the upper part of the fork claws simultaneously receives a movement in the path defd.
From the drawing it can be seen that the fork tip engages the ground in an approximately vertical position and is then gradually rotated by the influence of the upper crank 4 so that it assumes an almost horizontal position in its outermost position. During this movement, the tip of each claw moves in the path abc and its upper part in the approximately circular arc-shaped path def.
The cleaning prongs 13, which are curved according to an arc of a circle, are expediently arranged in such a way that they enter between the upper parts of the fork claws when the fork claws move and thus do not move the dug up earth on the fork. When the fork is then returned from its extreme right position to the vertical left starting position, its two above-mentioned points move in the paths ca and fd, i.e. in completely different paths than before, and during this movement the prongs 13 clean the claws along its entire length. The movement back to the starting position takes place very quickly. Simultaneously with the cleaning of the fork claws, the tines 13 also facilitate the turning of the excavated earth by acting as scrapers.
If the fork hits a solid object while penetrating the earth, z. B. a stone, its movement is "inhibited and the springs compressed. The intermediate piece 5, which forms the guide of the fork, moves under the action of the crank 3 and the connecting rod 8 invariably continues in its orbit, what a uniform work it is is required.
The path in which the fork moves is evidently dependent on the mutual distance and Position of shafts 1 and 2 and depends on the length and mutual position of the cranks. As a result, this path can easily be adapted to the existing conditions.
Through the device described, the fork or the grave organ receives a movement ', which corresponds to that of a hand-moved grave organ. Consequently the digging is carried out using the least possible force, which is for the The economy of the machine is of paramount importance.
The invention creates a digging machine which, placed on a cart, Compared to older machines, it does a better job with less labor.
