Das Drahtgitter ist im übrigen so beschaffen, daß seine Unelastizität stärker ist als die Elastizität der sie umgebenden Schicht der Schall-Dämmplatte. Unter Umständen ist es möglich, das Drahtgitter' so auszugestalten, daß eine Verkettung der Randzonen der Schall-Dämmplatten möglich ist, was sich für bestimmte Ronstruktionen als günstig erweist. Zu diesem Zweck können bspw. die Enden des Drahtgitters zu Haken und Ösen gebogen sein.
