Die Wirkung davon ist ein festes und sicheres Einpressen der äufseren Schnurflächen in die Gewindegänge der Hülse, und zwar nicht allein infolge des Eindrängens der kegelförmigen Spitzen in die Seilenden, sondern auch wegen der Pressung, welche die in die Hülsen eingeschraubten Seilenden erfahren. Nachdem hierauf der Haken b' in die Oese b eingehangen, ist die Verbindung hergestellt.
