Abstract

The set of elements for a scaffolding tower is used for load support in building, underground structures or bridges esp. to bear formwork. It comprises support elements between foot and head frames bearing spindles joined by plug connectors. Each support element (3) consists of one or more trusses (15), and two bars (16), firmly connected to one or more of these at right angles. The trusses and bars may be hollow profiles, pref. closed tubes. The element can well withstand stresses and loads, while being light and easily assembled and stored.
