The invention is intended to create a buffer which not only protects the vehicle against impact, but at the same time a headlight optic against stone chips or impact damage from other vehicles protects, e.g. during parking maneuvers, whereby the buffer also adjusts the headlight optics by vibrations or bumps from other vehicles.
