Das Charakteristische der vorliegenden Neuerung ist die gleichzeitige Verbindung der Stofszunge b mit der Hammernufs c und mit dem Fufshebel / durch je einen Gelenkstift. Diese Verbindung soll ein Auslösen überflüssig machen. Der Hammer wird durch den Druck der Taste eben so nahe an die Saite geführt, wie dies bei allen anderen Mechaniken der Fall ist; der Hub wird hinten durch die sogenannte Fallleiste oder vorn durch Unterlagen begrenzt.
