Die bisher in Gebrauch befindlichen Plattfußeinlagen haben den Übelstand, daß sie im Stiefel hin und her rutschen und so dem Fuß keinen festen Halt geben. Auch treten sich solche Einlagen leicht durch, so daß sie dem kranken Fuß mehr schaden als nützen. Durch den Gegenstand der Erfindung werden diese Übelstände behoben. Um dem Plattfuß wieder die Fußwölbung zu geben, ist die Brandsohle des Stiefels a, der Wölbung eines gesunden Fußes entsprechend, gearbeitet. Die Wölbung des Stiefels α wird durch den Absatz b gestützt, indem der Absatz b derart einseitig nach innen verlängert und erhöht gearbeitet ist (Fig. 1), daß ein fester Halt geschaffen ist und die Wölbung nicht mehr durchgedrückt werden kann.
