Die Erfindung betrifft ein aus einem Kochkessel und einer Isolierkiste für denselben bestehendes Feldkochgerät und bezweckt, durch an diesen beiden Teilen angebrachte und zusammenwirkende Einrichtungen hauptsächlich die Gefahr einer Explosion des Kochkessels zu beseitigen, welche bei den bisherigen Geräten dieser Art infolge des Umstandes besteht, daß bei Aufstellen des aus der Isolierkiste entnommenen Kochkessels über die Feuerstätte häufig übersehen oder vergessen wird, das Sicherheitsventil zu öffnen. Gleichzeitig bewirken diese Einrichtungen, daß bei Transport des gefüllten Kessels in der Kiste das Ventil selbsttätig geschlossen wird und in geschlossener Stellung verbleibt.
