Verfahren zur Herstellung von Harzkittmassen. Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 28. November 1913 ab. Process for the production of resin putty masses. Patented in the German Empire on November 28, 1913.
Härtere Harze sind meist teuer und erfordern auch derart hohe Temperaturen, daß sie für die erwähnten Zwecke nicht in Frage kommen; hierfür können nur billige, wenige Grade oberhalb ioo° erweichendeTo cement cutlery, knife blades, forks, etc. into handles, one moves usually in such a way that the cavities are filled with melted rosin, to which a little chalk or other filler material is incorporated has, pours out and then quickly inserts the fishing rod in question. Such putty now have the disadvantage of becoming soft in hot water and thus the cemented ones Loosen parts. Harder resins are usually expensive and also require such high amounts Temperatures that they are not suitable for the purposes mentioned; this can only cheap, softening a few degrees above 100 °
It made sense to use hardened resins for this purpose, especially Resinate of lime with or without further addition of rosin to use, whereby the desired hardness can be achieved, but such a mass becomes through frequent and prolonged treatment with hot water and alkaline lyes also attacked, as the resinate is very unstable chemical compounds are. It has now been found that there is one against the above Resistant resin mass is obtained by using the hardened resins, whose melting point is usually much higher ioo °, or their mixtures with rosin, with a neutral or as possible Resin, which is difficult to saponify, has a lower melting point and is suitable for this mixture Fillers such as chalk, sand, talc, etc., incorporated. Mixtures of cured resins with Resin and resin products are in themselves used in the paint industry for the production of oil paints well known, and lime resinates with resin stone or natural resins are usually used for this purpose used.- It was not known, however, that such mixtures form putty masses which, in contrast to the known Conventional putty masses are not attacked by hot water and alkaline liquids or the like will. The masses, the melting point of which can be regulated at will, are boiled for hours in water, soda, Soaps or salt solutions not attacked. As suitable neutral or difficult to saponify Resins are ideally suited to palm resin, certain rubber resins and types of pitch, as well as proportions of tar distillation resins and others. The protective effect is already through a Added only 10 percent of such neutral resins to the resinates. Of course Instead of rosin, any other easily meltable one can also be used Use resin, provided it is cheap enough, as do the rosin used can completely or partially convert into the resinate in question.
Ist derselbe höher, so setzt man ihn durch100 g rosin are mixed with 20 g finely powdered Hydrated lime is gradually neutralized at around 180 ° and becomes the still liquid Mass added 20 g of gum resin and 10 g of coumarone resin. The mixture is then at about 200 ° Heated until a sample removed has a melting point of about 102 °. If it is higher, it is enforced
Add / rosin and coumarone resin and finally stir 40 g of a mixture into the hot liquid resin mass made of chalk and pumice powder.
