Abstract

The device is used for connecting a length of rail laid in the filling area with one laid in the conveyor cage. It is used on track in underground mines, esp. suspension monorail. The free end of the sliding part may be fitted with a hook similar device for form-locking onto the cage rail. This provides good adaptability to varying levels of cage rails.
