Abstract

The air conditioning system for a malt kiln uses a glass tube heat exchanger in series with the evaporator of a heat pump to form a heat recuperation system. The air passing through the heat exchanger is returned to it after passing through the evaporator. It then passes through the condenser of the heat pump and the cooling unit of the apparatus driven by a diesel motor. A large amount of condensate is obtained at the heat exchanger, forming part of the drying system for the kiln.

Zur höchstmöglichen Rückgewinnung der eingesetzten Wärmemenge wird ein Glasröhrenwärmetauscher in Reihe mit einem Verdampfer einer Wärmepumpe geschaltet. Die Abwärme enthaltene Darrfortluft durchströmt zunächst den Glasröhrenwärmetauscher, anschließend den Verdampfer einer Wärmepumpe, um dann stark abgekühlt im Kreuzstrom den Glasröhrenwärmetauscher auf der anderen Seite zu passieren, um dann im weiteren Verlauf zunächst um wieder aufgeheizt zu werden den Kondensator der Wärmepumpe durchstreicht und anschließend die Kühler der die Anlage betreibenden Dieselmotoren 4/ Beim Durchstreich durch .den Glasröhrenwärmetauscher wird auf Grund von Kondensation eine große Wassermenge ausgeschieden. Dies geschieht ebenfalls noch mal in dem Verdampfer der Wärmepumpe.
