Claims (1)
- KAISERLICHESPATENTAMT.1·Zur Aufnahme des Sarges bezw. des Leichnams wird das Grab in Form einer Schale a isolirt. Das Isolirungsmaterial richtet sich nach Dauerhaftigkeit und Kosten. Die Grabbettschale kann hergestellt werden aus gebrannter Erde, Thon, Steingut, Glas, Metall, Cement, Asphalt u. s. w., sie ist entweder eine einzelne oder eine gekoppelte, feststehende oder transportable. Zwei Drittel der Sarghöhe dürfte für die Grabbettschale genügen. Im isolirten Grab wird die Verwesung eine langsame sein, weil nur Wasser zum Sarg dringen kann. Soll die Verwesung (Verbrennung) indessen eine rasche sein, so erfordert das Grab den Zutritt von Wasser und Luft.Der Luftzutritt wird bewerkstelligt, indem die Grabbettschale a' durch den Erdkanal N mit dem Zugrohr N1 in Verbindung gesetzt wird. Das Zugrohr setzt sich aus einem wasser- und feuersicheren Hauptrohr und mehreren Zweigen zusammen. Eine directe Beheizung des Hauptrohres (als gewöhnlicher Schornstein) dürfte schon in den meisten Fällen zur Herstellung eines Luftzuges durch die Gräber genügen. Der Aufstellungsort ist ein beliebiger Centralpunkt. Reiht sich der Friedhof um eine Kapelle oder um eine Kirche, so steht das Hauptrohr am geeigneten Punkte im Innern oder in einer Umfassungsmauer. Die Zweigrohre können zur Einführung von Heizgasen, Luft ü. s. w. (ί i') oder zur Verbrennung von Gasen (c c\ d d') benutzt werden.Die directe oder indirecte Beheizung des Hauptrohres bewirkt Zug im Sammelrohr, welches die Züge der Zweigrohre aus den einzelnen Grabbettschalen vereinigt. Die Grabbettschale a' · ■ saugt continuirlich Luft durch die lockere Grabdeckerde zum Leichnam. Die Wässer kommen vom Regen und Begiefsen und befördern die rasche Verwesung. Die durch Regen der Schale zufliefsenden Wässer verdunsten mit dem Luftzug.Sind die Schalen und die Erdkanäle aus wasserdichtem Material solid ausgeführt, so ist eine Verunreinigung der Luft und des Quellenwassers durch diese Einrichtung ausgeschlossen.
