Im Hauptpatent 256387 ist ein Verfahren zur Wasserreinigung mittels Chlorkalkes, Hypochlorite oder ähnlich wirkender chlorhaltiger Stoffe beschrieben, welches darin besteht, daß das Wasser nach der Behandlung mit diesen Stoffen mit metallischem Zinn oder zinnhaltigen Stoffen, am besten in feiner Verteilung, in Berührung gebracht wird.
