bei Trockenschleifmaschinen.with dry grinding machines.
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 7. Juli 1912 ab.Patented in the German Empire on July 7, 1912.
With the dry grinding machines there is the disadvantage that with intensive grinding a lot of dust is generated; the developed dust is mostly caused by one of an Exhaustor induced air flow entrained and the mixture of air and Sanding dust through a pipeline of a central dust chamber or the open atmosphere fed. In the case of a single machine, it seemed desirable to have dust extraction and collect dust in the machine itself. The small space available for this purpose has this purpose can only be achieved imperfectly, what has been achieved could meet the demands of the trade inspection not enough. A known device with a satisfactory effect in terms of dust deposition consists in that water is injected into the Exhaustor and thereby moistens the grinding dust so intensely became that it precipitated immediately. However, this arrangement has not changed so far proven when the precipitate "settled for the most part in the exhaustor and through Gradual clogging of the same gave rise to operational disruptions, since the severe ones The moistened iron particles and the emery rusted together to form a solid mass in the exhaustor. The subject matter of the present invention avoids these inconveniences through a special arrangement and utilization the water veil in the air stream.
The water sprays out of a nozzle α in a closed jet diagonally against a wall b.
The incoming air stream, which carries the grinding dust with it, has to pass the water veil, whereby the grinding dust is moistened and partly already deposited. The effect of the precipitation is completed by the design of the chambers or the end walls of these chambers. .The wall e of the chamber c is kept constantly moist by the water jet; the air flow is directed against this wet wall and deflected by the wall itself. The air particles are easy to deflect; the partly not yet moistened dust particles, on the other hand, follow the deflected air more slowly, and a large part of it flies against the wall, where they are carried away by the water flowing down; the same applies to the wall f of the chamber d and also to the following chambers. The walls that form the individual chambers are not extended to the bottom of the stand. · The individual chambers, which are only small in height, are separated by the water contained in the stand. The walls are only a few centimeters below the lowest water level. As a result of the capillary action, the sludge particles that have settled down are kept moist at all times by immersion and are easily detached by the injected water. This arrangement achieves 1. that that which has once run down the wall and is loaded with abrasive clamps
Water doesn't come in again with the air flow Touch comes. Once a sludge particle has been eliminated, it remains permanently eliminated, 2. that a relatively large space is available for the accumulation of the grinding sludge, and 3. that the grinding sludge that collects under the water does not rust together and with the Water can be conveniently flushed out of the stand of the machine.
With this arrangement, an effective effect is actually achieved in the small space of the stand. The grinding sludge is almost completely deposited in the first two chambers; after flowing through the combs g and k, completely dust-free air leaves the stand of the machine at chamber i.
