Darüber hinaus stellt der Schwenkriegel einen zusätzlichen Bauteil dar, der den konstruktiven Aufwand erhöht und die Herstellung der Pfette verteuert, zumal dieser Riegel mit engen Toleranzen gefertigt und gegenüber der Pfette genau ausgerichtet sein muß. Da der Schwenkriegel ausschließlich infolge seines Eigengewichtes in seine Sperrlage schwenkt, besteht die Gefahr, daß er diese Lage nicht erreicht, beispielsweise infolge Verschmutzens der Gelenkachse oder durch Verbiegen während der Montage oder während des Transportes.
