Gasreinigungsmasse.Gas cleaning compound.
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 11. Juni 1912 ab.Patented in the German Empire on June 11, 1912.
To remove the sulfur or hydrogen sulfide contained in the luminous gas As is well known, a cleaning compound is used, the active ingredient ferric hydroxide of any Contains (natural or artificial) origin. By moist oxidation on the Air, as a result of which the sulphides formed are decomposed with the separation of free sulfur, the cleaning compound can be regenerated as is known. After repeated regeneration however, the mass is so saturated with sulfur, etc., that it is suitable for further uptake of sulfur is incapable and must be replaced by a new cleaning compound. The selling price the exhausted gas cleaning mass is very low, although this mass is also contains complex cyan compounds (Prussian blue) in considerable quantities.
The subject of the present invention is a method for direct exploitation the complex cyano compounds contained in exhausted gas cleaning mass in such a way that these compounds together with the other components of the cleaning compound (sulfur, ferric hydroxide, etc.) by means of suitable, essentially mechanical treatment to form dyes with a corresponding mixed color are processed.
It is a method of exploiting the complex cyano compounds in exhaustion Gas cleaning compound known, after which these compounds by chemical treatment the optionally desulfurized mass can be separated for the purpose of dye production. In this, by the way, relatively expensive chemical processing of the gas cleaning compound on Prussian blue, however, only this dye itself appears, and in proportion obtained in a very small amount. In contrast, the present method allows through a relatively cheap uniform Treatment to utilize the whole amount of the gas cleaning compound in terms of color. Experiments have shown that, on the one hand, the pale yellow colors of sulfur, the the dark yellow or brown colors of the iron oxide and the blue colors of the cyano compounds, which all contribute to the unclean appearance of exhausted gas cleaning mass, to a very beautiful, about deep green complementary color by mixing united, while on the other hand also the most diverse substances themselves These colors are bound by appropriate treatment into a flawless uniform Color carriers can be converted. Incidentally, you can also be exhausted Gas cleaning masses from which the sulfur has been removed by extraction of the like, use as raw material in the present dyeing fabric manufacture.
Die bei der Erfindung in Betracht kommenden Maßnahmen sind Waschung, Aufschlämmung, Vermahlung, Trocknung und ähnliche Behandlungen üblicher Art. Die Reihenfolge, in der diese Behandlungen vorgenommen wer-The measures to be considered in the invention are washing, slurrying, Milling, drying and similar treatments of the usual kind. The order in which these treatments are carried out
The type of equipment used depends on the various working conditions.
The following is intended to be a. Embodiment of a work-up of the cleaning compound wet roads are discussed in more detail.
Zunächst wird die erschöpfte Reinigungsmasse in geeigneter Weise zerkleinert und sodann in einer Schlämmvorrichtung mit derFirst, the exhausted cleaning mass is crushed in a suitable manner and then in a whipping device with the
The coarser ones Parts remain on the ground, while the slurried finer parts in a collecting container or passed directly into a mill set up to be too wet will. The finely ground product is removed from the coarser by re-eluting Separated grains and the obtained fine colored powder in suitable basins, centrifugal drums or the like. Freed from water, and finally finely ground in suitable machines to become.
.The wet treatment offers the advantage that those present in the cleaning compound water soluble compounds, e.g. B. the toxic ammonium rhodanate, thereby eliminated immediately will. .
The dry route treatment must be preceded by a water wash. the Washed cleaning mass is dried at a suitable temperature in ball mills or other shredding machines finely ground and the finer colored powder in separating machines, Wind separators or the like separated from the coarser grains.
As mentioned earlier, the type of treatment required depends on the person. different Origin of the gas cleaning compound and the working methods of the various gas factories. This is also governed by this the color of the color powder produced, which is now deep blue, now olive green, now brown.
Leimfarben, Druckfarben usw. verwenden. The color powder produced can be used for oil paints as well as for water or glue paints, Use inks, etc.
