Die in der geschilderten Weise voneinander geteilten Backenteile sind oben geradlinig abgeflacht und seitlich je mit einer unter sich gehenden Führungsleiste d versehen, zwischen welche das zum Polieren der Sohle dienende Werkzeug e eingeschoben wird, während jeder Backenteil etwas tiefer je ein quer durchgehendes, mit Muttergewinde ausgestattetes Loch f, f hat, die einander gegenüberliegen und zum Eindrehen einer Schraube g dienen, mittels welcher die beiden frei auf dem Schafthalse stehenden Backenteile zusammengezogen werden können. Das im Kopfe des Schaftes α befindliche Bohrloch b ist dazu bestimmt, die zum Rändeln dienende Vorrichtung aufzunehmen.
