Description
In der vorliegenden Erfindung ist eine Einrichtung an unterschlächtigen Wasserräderwerken getroffen, durch welche es möglich wird, die treibende Kraft natürlicher Wasserläufe und die Bewegung des Meeres ohne besondere Einbauten zu gewinnen. Besonders nutzbringend wird sich die vorliegende Anordnung dort verwerthen lassen, wo durch die Anwendung bekannter verticaler oder horizontaler Wasserräder eine erhebliche Veränderung der bezw. Wasserläufe unerläfslich wäre oder doch so grofse Kosten verursachen würde, dafs von der Verwendung der Wasserkraft überhaupt Abstand genommen werden müfste.In the present invention there is a device on undershot waterwheel works which makes it possible to use the driving force of natural watercourses and to gain the movement of the sea without special fixtures. Die Kettenrollen d d1 sind an einem passend construirten Gestell D gelagert, welches seinerseits auf Pontons, Caissons oder Tonnen E etc. befestigt ist, die in entsprechender Anzahl und Gröfse angewendet werden, um das ganze System schwimmend zu erhalten, und in der Weise verankert sind, dafs sie jeder eintretenden Niveauveränderung des Wassers folgen können. Die Schaufeln a sind drehbar auf den Achsen g befestigt, deren verlängerte Zapfen die Verbindung der bezw. Kettenglieder bilden, und sind aufserdem mittelst der Spreizen derart unter einander gekuppelt, dafs das eine Ende der Spreize drehbar auf der Achse der einen Schaufel und das andere Ende ebenfalls beweglich an der folgenden Schaufel angeordnet ist, wodurch erzielt wird, dafs die Schaufeln unter dem Druck des Wassers nicht umklappen, sondern einen Zug auf die nächstfolgende Schaufel und somit auf das ganze System ausüben. Um unter Berücksichtigung der Länge einer derartigen Anlage das Wasser am seitlichen Ausweichen zu hindern und zu veranlassen, dafs dasselbe seinen Druck auf jede einzelne Schaufel ausübt, stellt der Erfinder den ganzen Apparat entweder in schräger Stellung in einem bestimmten Winkel zur Stromrichtung auf, oder er ordnet an dem Gestell D Leitschaufeln i an, welche für jeden Wirkungsgrad verstellbar sind und sowohl eine höhere oder tiefere Einstellung als auch eine Drehung um ihre Achse k gestatten. Aufserdem kann jedoch der Apparat auch in der in Fig. 4 getroffenen Anordnung zur Verwendung gelangen.
