Sedimentierbecken.Sedimentation basin.
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 15. November 1910 ab.Patented in the German Empire on November 15, 1910.
The present invention relates to an Ab 1 · water purification system in which a sedimentation basin is installed in the upper part of the sludge chamber, which is provided with inclined walls on which the sludge can slide down to the lower sludge collecting chamber. While in the known systems of this type the sludge can only fall down into the sludge chamber at the lowest end of the sedimentation basin, the inclined walls of the sedimentation basin on the front are set off at several angles and provided with slots at these points so that the sludge does not, As with the known sedimentation basins, it can accumulate in such thick layers, but after a short time it slips into the sludge space, whereby the penetration of silt patties from the sludge space into the sedimentation space can be avoided if possible due to the angular paragraphs. As a result, the sludge is also distributed more evenly over the bottom of the sludge chamber than if there were only one opening at the lowest end of the sedimentation basin. The slipping of the sludge from the settling room into the sludge room is more frequent, more continuous and not so intermittent, so that both rooms remain as calm as possible and no sludge turbulence can arise. As already mentioned, larger accumulations of sludge in the settling room are avoided and at the same time the risk of the sludge rotting because it is removed from the settling room as quickly as possible.
In the drawing, the sewage treatment plant is shown in Fig. Ι in a section of FIG. 2 along the line designated AA.
Fig. 2 ist ein Querschnitt nach der mit B-B bezeichneten Linie der Fig. 1.FIG. 2 is a cross section along the line designated BB in FIG. 1.
The sewage treatment plant is provided with the usual inlet and outlet 2. A part the partition walls 3 is offset at an angle at the upper part and provided with slots.
The width of the slots further up in the sliding surfaces is intended to allow the water flow to be restricted as much as possible between the septic tank and the sludge space, be smaller than the width of the downward slits.
■The outside of the upper end of the funnel of the sitting area is designed as a ring Provided gutter to which the water is fed from the outside through a pipe or gutter. From the annular From the gutter, the water reaches the settlement room and flows through it to one of the A gutter attached to the periphery of the well, from where the clarified water flows to the drain. ■
The arrangement of the interrupted sliding surfaces can also be applied to basins from rectangular plan are used, as well as the rest of the execution is arbitrary.
