Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist eine Fassung für Zwickergläser u. dgl., welche es ermöglicht, daß jedermann leicht ein Glas austauschen oder an Stelle eines gebrochenen Glases ein in Vorrat' gehaltenes unversehrtes Glas einsetzen kann. Beim Auswechseln eines Glases 4 wird der Stift 20 in die mit gebrochenen Linien dargestellte Stellung verdreht, worauf der Hebel 14 im Sinne des eingezeichneten Pfeiles verdreht werden kann. Dadurch gibt der Backen 16 das Glas 4 frei; nach Einsetzen eines neuen Glases wird der Hebel in die dargestellte Stellung zurückgeschwenkt und der Stift 20 so weit zurückgedreht, bis die Nase 19 in die Ausnehmung 18 des Hebels 14 eingreift. Der Arm 14' des Hebels 14 ist zweckmäßig derart geformt, daß beim Öffnen der Fassung die Nase 19 vor Lösung der Klemmung über einen Teil des Armes 14' gleiten muß, dessen Punkte dem Drehpunkt des Teiles 8' näher liegen, so daß die Größe der Klemmung während dieses Teiles der Öffnungsbewegung erhöht wird, wodurch ein unbeabsichtigtes Öfinen der Fassung sicher hintangehalten ist. Der übrige Teil des Armes 14' ist hinwieder, wie die Zeichnung deutlich zeigt, derart geformt, daß nach Überschreitung des dem Umdrehungspunkt nächstgelegenen Punktes des Armes 14' durch die Nase 19 der Arm 14' schon bei äußerst geringer weiterer Verdrehung genügend freigegeben wird, um das Glas 4 entfernen zu können. An Stelle des gekrümmten Hebels 14 könnte auch ein gerader, zweiarmiger Hebel , verwendet werden, wie Fig. 3 zeigt, welcher beim Öffnen der Fassung ein gleiches Zusammenwirken mit der Nase 19 ergibt.
