Die Rampe besteht aus den durch Bohlenbelag b mit einander verbundenen Eisenschienen α und hängt mittelst der an letzteren befestigten Klauen g^l an der Stange g, welche längs der Wagenkastenkante durch Console h am Längsträger des Wagens befestigt ist. Mittelst dieser Knaggen g' kann die Rampe sowohl an der Stange g entlang verschoben werden, als auch behufs Hoch- und Niederklappens um die Stange g gedreht werden, wobei die Vorstrecker k ein Ausheben der Klauen g^l verhindern. Zur Seite der Rampe sind die herabklappbaren Geländer d angeordnet, welche in Lagern e drehbar sind und durch Streben ff¹ beim Gebrauch der Rampe eine Stützung finden, wie dies besonders Fig. 4 zeigt.On the accompanying drawing, Fig. Ι illustrates the folded-up loading ramp on use in view. Soll die Rampe aus der beschriebenen und in Fig. 2 und 3 dargestellten herabgeklappten Stellung entfernt werden, so löst man zunächst die Strebe ff, klappt die Geländer d herab und legt die Klappe m um; dann werden die Vorstrecker k herausgezogen, und nun kann die ganze Rampe seitlich verschoben werden, bis die linke Schiene α bezw. ihre Klaue g¹, Fig. 1, an die letzte Console h stöfst; die rechte Schiene α bezw. ihre Klaue liegt dann auf der linken Seite der zweiten Console h, und wenn man nun die Vorstrecker k wieder einsteckt und die Rampe hochklappt, so ist dieselbe durch genannte Console h gegen eine seitliche Verschiebung gesichert. In der hochgeklappten Stellung wird sie dann noch durch Wirbel i, Vorreiber oder dergleichen in ihrer Lage gesichert, so dafs ein Herunterklappen ausgeschlossen ist. Die auf die Rampe geklappten Geländer d kommen hierbei zwischen Rampe und Wagenwand zu liegen, und die Rampe ist so bequem am Wagen untergebracht, ohne dafs der Zutritt zur Thür behindert wäre.
