Dieser Schuhbandschleifenhalter besteht aus einem oberen, und einem unteren Theil A und B (aus Metall oder sonstigem Material) von beliebiger Form, welche durch ein Scharnier mit einander verbunden sind. In der Mitte des oberen Theiles befindet sich ein Ausschnitt C, um dem Knoten der Schleife den nöthigen Raum zu lassen, und an seinem vorderen Rande ein kleiner Einschnitt D, welcher dazu bestimmt ist, ein an dem unteren Theil A vorspringendes federndes Zäpfchen α in sich aufzunehmen. In dem unteren Theil befinden sich aufserdem zwei Schnürlöcher, durch welche die beiden Enden des Schnürbandes von unten durchgezogen und oben, wie üblich, in eine Schleife geknüpft werden. Der obere Theil B des Schleifenhalters wird alsdann auf den unteren Theil gedrückt und mittelst des an diesem befindlichen, rechtwinklig umgebogenen federnden Vorsprunges α fest geschlossen, wodurch die Schleife in ihrer Lage festgehalten wird und sich nicht mehr öffnen kann.This shoelace loop holder consists of an upper and a lower part A and B (of metal or other material) of any shape, which are connected to one another by a hinge.
