Abstract

The cold state agitating gasifier for liquid hydrogen mixes it with air and the gaseous hydrogen and air mixture is used in ground vehicles, aircraft and in heating systems as a fuel and air mixture. This mixture is supplied to the engine cylinders and it is readily ignited. The mixing vessel accommodates an agitator in which the entering gaseous hydrogen is mixed with air by the rotor which is driven by a gear train. The gas mixture generated by the rotor is capable of ignition and it is supplied directly into the engine cylinder.
