Zu dem Ende wird die Vorlage über die Steigeröhren gesetzt und das Steigerohr durch die Flüssigkeit geführt. Der Effect wird dadurch vermehrt, dafs dem durch die Sperrflüssigkeit gehenden Rohr möglichst viel Oberfläche, also ein rechteckiger oder gewellter Querschnitt gegeben wird. Ueber dem Steigerohr hängt eine ausbalancirte Haube, welche am eintauchenden Ende verzahnt oder perforirt ist, wodurch ebenfalls noch flüssige Beimengungen des Gases abgestofsen werden unter einem beliebig einstellbaren, den chemischen und physikalischen Eigenschaften des Gases entsprechenden Drucke.In the case of existing templates, a similar purpose is achieved by simply changing the immersion tube, FIG. 3, by toothing it at the lower end or providing it with a perforation.
