Die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen können durch Umsetzung von zwei Mol" einer Verbindung der Formel RSH mit einem Mol

letztere Verbindung in ausreichender Menge eingesetzt wird, um mit dem verbleibenden Halogen des PX., zu reagieren.
Die Ausgangsverbindungen der Formel (2) können durch Umsetzen
einer Verbindung der Formel HS (CH„) COOH mit einem entsprechenden
Polyalkohol hergestellt werden, wie beispielsweise durch Reaktion von Mercaptoessigsäure, (Thioglycolsäure)
oder Mercaptopropionsäure mit Äthylenglycol, Propylenglycol, Butylenglycol, Trimethylenglycol, Tetramethylenglycol,
Hexamethylenglycol, Octamethylenglycol, Decamethylenglycol, Glycerin, Trimethyloläthan, Trimethylolpropan, Trimethylolbutan
oder Pentaerythritol.

Bei diesen beispielhaft angeführten Verbindungen sind die R- und die R3~Gruppen stets gleich. Wie aber bereits ausgeführt,
können auch Verbindungen mit gemischten R- oder gemischten R3~Gruppen hergestellt werden, indem als Ausgangsverbindungen
mehrere RSH-Verbindungen eingesetzt werden.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Thiophosphite sind als Antioxydantien beispielsweise bei Raumtemperatur oder darüberliegender Temperatur
und als Stabilisatoren gegen Wärme bei verschiedenen

Anwendungen wirksam, wie beispielsweise bei Polyäthylen, Polypropylen, EPDM-Kautschuk, Vinylchloridharzen, Nahrungsmitteln,
Schmierölen, Naturkautschuk, kautschukartigen Butadienstyrol-copolymeren,
kautschukartigen Butadien-acrylnitrilcopolymeren, Acrylnitril-butadien-styrol-terpolymeren (ABS),
Poly-cis-isoprenen, Polyestern und ähnlichen Verbindungen,
Falls nicht anders angegeben, beziehen sich alle Teil- und Prozentangaben auf das Gewicht.
Wie oben ausgeführt, sind die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen al's Antioxydantien und Stabilisatoren für halogenhaltige Harze
und vorzugsweise Vinylchloridharze geeignet.
Als halogenhaltige Harze können Harze aus Vinylidenverbindungen wie Vinylchlorid, Vinylidenchlorid, Vinylchloracetat, Chlorstyrolen,
Vinylbromid und Chlorbutatienen eingesetzt werden. Derartige Vinylidenverbindungen können allein oder in Mischungen
miteinander oder mit halogenfreien Vinylidenverbindungen polymerisiert werden. Halogenfreie Verbindungen, die mit den
halogenhaltigen Vinylidenverbindungen wie beispielsweise Vinylchlorid copolymerisiert werden können, sind beispielsweise
Vinylester von Carbonsäuren wie Vinylacetat, Vinylpropionat, Vinylbutyrat und Vinylbenzoat, Ester von ungesättigten Säuren
wie Alkyl- und Alkenylacrylate wie Methylacrylat, Äthylacrylat,

Propylacrylat, Butylacrylat und Allylacrylat sowie die entsprechenden
Methacrylate wie Methyl-methacrylat und Butylmethacrylat,
aromatische Vinylverbindungen wie Styrol, p-Äthylstyrol,
Divinylbenzol, Vinylnaphthalin,o^-Methyl-styrol,
p-Methyl-styrol, Diene wie Butadien und Isopren, ungesättigte
Amide wie Acrylamid, Methacrylamid und Äcrylanilid und Ester von o^,ß-ungesättigten Carbonsäuren wie beispielsweise Methyl-,
Äthyl-, Propyl-, Butyl-, Ainyl-, Hexyl-, Heptyl-, Octyl-,
Allyl-, Methallyl- und Phenylester der Maleinsäure, Crotonsäure, Itaconsäure und Fumarsäure und ähnliche Verbindungen.
Zu diesen Verbindungen gehören insbesondere Ester wie Diäthylmäleat,
Dibutylmaleat und Dibutylfumarat.
Vorzugsweise werden die erfindungsgemäßen Thiophosphite solchen Copolymeren zugesetzt, bei denen mindestens 50 % des Copolymers
aus einer, halogenhaltigen Vinylidenverbindung wie Vinylchlorid hergestellt wurden.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Stabilisatoren sind aber auch wirksam, wenn sie mit halogenhaltigen Harzen innig vermischt werden,
bei denen ein Teil oder das gesamte Halogen in ein vorgeformtes Harz eingeführt wird, wie beispielsweise bei chlorierten
Polyvinylacetaten, chloriertem Polystyrol, chloriertem Polyäthylen, chloriertem Polyvinylchlorid, chlorierten natürlichen
und synthetischen Kautschuken und Kautschukhydrochloriden.

Geeignete Copolymere sind beispielsweise Vinylchlorid-Vinv-l™
acetat (Gewichtsverhältnis 95:5), Vinylchlorid-Vinylacetat
(Gewichtsverhältnis 87:13}, Vinylchlorid-Vinylacetat-Maieinsäureanhydrid
(Gewichtsverhältnis 86:13:1), Vinyichlorid-Vinylidenchlorid
(Gewichtsverhältnis 95:5), Vinylchlorid-Diäthylfumarat
(Gewichtsverhältnis 95:5) oder Vinylchioridtrichloräthylen (Gewichtsverhältnis 95:5).
Die Harze wie Polyvinylchlorid können weich gemacht oder nicht
weich gemacht sein. Als Weichmacher können an sich bekannte Verbindungen eingesetzt werden, wie Dioctyl-phthaiat, Octyldecyl-phthalat,
Trikresylphosphat, 2-Äthylhexyl-diphenylphosphat,
Dodecyl-dikresy!phosphat, Tributyl-acetyl-citrat,
Dioctyl-sebacat, Dibutyl-sebacat oder ähnliche. Die Weichmacher werden in üblichen Mengen wie beispielsweise in Mengen
von 10 bis 100 Teilen je 100 Teile des vinylchloridhaltigen Harzes zugegeben.
Die thiophosphithaltigen erfindungsgemäßen Stabilisatoren werden in Mengen von etwa 0,05 bis 20 und vorzugsweise 0,1 bis
10 Teilen je 100 Teile des halogenhaltigen Harzes eingesetzt.
Je 100 Teilen des halogenhaltigen Harzes können weiterhin 0,1 bis 10 Teile eines Metallsalzes als Stabilisator zugegeben
werden. Zu diesem Zweck können Barium-, Strontium-, Calcium-,

Cadmium-, Zink-, Blei-, Zinn-, Magnesium-, Kobalt-, Nickel-,
Titan- und Aluminiumsalze von Phenolen, aromatischen Carbonsäuren,
Fettsäuren oder epoxydierten Fettsäuren eingesetzt x-jerden. Derartige Salze sind-beispielsweise Barium-di-(nonylphenolat),
Strontium-di-(nonylphenolat), Strontium-di-(amylphenolat),
Barium-di-(octylphenolat), Barium-di-(nonyl-ocresolat),
Blei-di-(octylphenolat), Cadmium-2-äthylhexoat,
Cädmiumlaurat, Cadmiumstearat, Zinkcaprylat, Cadmiumcaproat,
Bariumstearat, Barium-2-äthylhexoat, Bariumlaurat, Bariumricinoleat,
Bleistearat, AXuminiumstearat, Magnesiumstearat,
Calciumoctoat, Calciumstearat, Cadmiumnaphthenat, CadmiumbWnzoat,
Cadmium-p-t-butylbenzoat, Barium-octylsalicylat,
Cadmium-epoxystearat, Strontium-epoxystearat, Cadmiumsalse
von epoxidierten Soyafettsäuren und Blei-epoxystearat.
Bei Plastisolmischungen werden vorzugsweise weiterhin etwa 0,1 bis 10 Teile je 100 Teile des Harzes eines epoxydierten
pflanzlichen Öles wie epoxydiertes Soyaöl oder epoxydiertes Tallöl zugesetzt.
Weiterhin können Phosphite zugegeben werden, wie beispielsweise Alkyl-, Aryl- oder Aralkylphosphite in Mengen von etwa 0,1 bis
10 Teilen je 100 Teile des Harzes. Derartige Verbindungen sind beispielsweise Triphenylphosphit, Tridecylphosphit, Decyldiphenylphosphit,
Di-(p-t-butylphenyl)-phenylphosphit, Diphenylo-cresylphosphit,
Trioctylphosphit, Tricresylphosphit und Tribenzylphosphit.

Die erfinduigsgemäßen Verbindungen können aber auch als
Stabilisatoren und Antioxydantien für Monoolefinpolymere eingesetzt werden, wie für Polyäthylen, Polypropylen, Athylenpropylen-copolymeren
(beispielsweise 50:50, 80:20 und 20:80), sowie für Äthylen-monoolefin-copolymere, bei welchen das
Monoolefin in geringerer Menge vorliegt und etwa 4 bis 10 C-Atome aufweist, wie Äthylen-buten(1)-copolymere (95:5) oder
Äthylen-decen(1)-copolymere (90:10). Darüberhinaus eignen sich
die Verbindungen auch zur Stabilisation von Naturkautschuk, Styrol-Butadien-Kautschuk (SBR-Kautschuk) mit einem Gehalt an
beispielsweise 75 % Butadien und 25 % Styrol, EPDM-Kautschuke
und Acrylnitril-Butadien-Styrol-Terpolymere (ABS).
Als EPDM-Kautschuke können die handelsüblichen SPDM-Kautschuke
eingesetzt werden, die normalerweise 30 bis 70 Mol% und vorzugsweise 50 bis 60 Mol% Äthylen, 65 bis 20 Mol% und vorzugsweise
35 bis 45 Mol% Propylen und 1 bis 15 Mol% und vorzugsweise 3 bis 5 Mol% eines nichtkonjugierten Polyolefins enthalten.
Im allgemeinen beträgt der Anteil an Polyolefinen nicht mehr als 10 Mol%. Der Gehalt an Äthylen und Propylen
kann jeweils etwa 5 bis 95 Mol% der Gesamtmischung betragen.
Unter nichtkonjugierten Polyolefinen werden in diesem Zusammenhang
aliphatische konjugierte Polyenkohlenwasserstoffe und cycloaliphatische nichtkonjugierte Polyenkohlenwasserstoffe

wie beispielsweise endocyclische Diene verstanden. Derartige nichtkonjugierte Polyolefine sind beispielsweise Pentadien-1,4,
Hexadien-t,4, Dicyclopentadien, dimeres Methy!-cyclopentadien,
Cyclododecatriene Cyclooctadien-I,5 und 5-Methylen-2-norbornen.
Geeignete Terpolymere sind beispielsweise die "Royalene", die
55 Mol% Äthylen, 40 bis 42 Mol% Propylen und 3 bis 5 Mol% Dicyclopentadien
enthalten sowie "Enjay-terpolymere" wie beispielsweise "ERP-404" und "Enjay 3509", die etwa 55 Mol%
Äthylen, 41 Mol% Propylen und 4 Mol% 5-Methylen-2-norbornen
enthalten sowie "Nordel", ein Terpolymer, das 55 Mol% Äthylen,
4Ö Mol% Propylen und 5 Mol% Hexadien-1,4 enthält. Andere geeignete
Terpolymere enthalten beispielsweise 50 Mol% Äthylen, 47 Mol% Propylen und 3 Mol% 1,5-Cyclooctadien (Marke "Dutrel").
Geeignete EPDM-Kautschuke sind beispielsweise in den US-PS
2 933 480, 3 000 866, 3 063 973, 3 093 620, 3 093 621 und
3 136 739, in der GB-PS 880 904 und in der BE-PS 623 698 beschrieben.
Terpolymere und andere EPDM-Kautschuke aus Äthylen, Propylen und Dicyclopentadien sind in den US-PS 3 000 866 und 3 136 739
sowie in der GB-PS 880 904 angegeben.. EPDM-Kautschuke aus Äthylen, Propylen und 1,4-Hexadien sind in der US-PS 2 933 480
beschrieben, wobei in dieser Patentschrift auch darauf hinge-

wiesen wird, daß andere nichtkonjugierte Diolefine wie 1,4-"·ericadien,
2-Methyl-1,5-hexadien, 3,3-Dimethyl-1,5-hexydien, 1,7-Octadier.,
1,9-Decadien, 1,9-Eicosadien, 1,4-Hexadien, 1,9-0ctadecadien,
6-Methyl-1,5-heptadien, 7-Methyl-1,6-octadien oder
11-Äthyl-1,11-tridecadien verwendet werden können.
EPDM-Kautschuke aus Äthylen, Propylen und 5-Methylen-2-norbornen
sind in der ÜS-PS 3 093 621 beschrieben. Geeignete Norbornadiene wie beispielsweise 2-Methyl-ncrbornadien,. 2-Äthyl-norbornadien
und 2-n-Heptyl-norbornadien sind in der US-PS 3 063
und Bicycloverbindungen wie Bicyclo- \2,2,2)-heptadien-2,5 sind
ixi der GB-PS 880 904 beschrieben. Die Verwendung von Cyclooctadien-1,5
und anderer Cyclodiene ergibt sich aus der BE-PS 623 698. Zur Herstellung von EPDM-Elastomeren können demnach
1,4-Cycloheptadien, 1,4-Cyclooctadien, 1,6-Cyclodecadien,
1,5-Cyclododecadien, 1,7-Cyclodecadien, 1,5,9-Cyclododecatrien
oder 1-Methyl-1,5-cyclooctadien Verwendung finden.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen werden meist in Mengen von
mindestens 0,01 % und im allgemeinen in Mengen von 0,1 bis 10 Gew.%, bezogen auf das zu stabilisierende Polymer, eingesetzt.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen können aber auch zusammen mit anderen schwefelhaltigen Verbindungen als synergistische

Stabilisatoren Verwendung fladen. In dieser Weise können sie
zusammen mit neutralen Schwefelverbindungen eingesetzt werden, die ß-ständig zu einem Kohlenstoffatom, das eine Wasserstoff-
und eine Carboxybindung aufweist, eine Thiobindung haben. Derartige Verbindungen werden in Mengen von etwa 0,01 bis
und vorzugsweise 0,1 bis 5 % eingesetzt. Geeignete Verbindungen sind beispielsweise Pentaerythritol-tetra-(mercaptoacetat),

der zur Veresterung eingesetzte Alkohol ein Alkanol mit 10 bis 18 C-Atomen. Auch andere ß-Thiocarbonsäuren, wie beispielsweise
die in der US-PS 2 519 744 beschriebenen, können verwendet werden.
Derartige ß-Thiocarbonsäuren sind beispielsweise Stearyl-(1,2-dicarbäthoxyäthylthio)-acetat,
Stearyl-(1,2-Dicarbolauryloxyäthylthio)-acetat
und ähnliche Verbindungen. Diese Verbindungen lassen sich durch Addition eines Alkylesters von Mercaptoessigsäuren
an Dialkylester der Maleinsäure herstellen. Auch sind ß-Thiocarboxy!verbindungen verwendbar, die durch Addition von
RSH-Verbindungen an Maleinsäuredoppelbindungen hergestellt wurden, wobei R eine Alkyl-, Aryl-, Alkylcarboxyalkyl-, Arylcarboxyalkyl-

Wirksamkeit können durch Addition von Mercaptanen an die

Doppelbindung von Dialkylitaconaten, Citraconaten, Fumaraten
oder Trialkylitaconaten hergestellt werden. Hierzu gehören die Additionsprodukte von Laury!mercaptan an Dibutylitaconat,
Additionsprodukte der Stearylester der Mercaptoessigsäure an Dilaurylitaconat, Additionsprodukte von Buty!mercaptan an
Dilaurylcitraconat, Additionsprodukte von Laurylmercaptan an
Tributylakonitat und das Additionsprodukt des Laurylesters der Mercaptopropionsäure an Triäthylakonitat.
Die thermische Stabilität von Polypropylen und anderen Monoolef inpolymeren wird durch" Verunreinigungen wie Reste von
Katalysatoren verringert. Wenn eine thermische Stabilität zusätzlich zur oxydativen Stabilität wichtig ist, werden vorzugsweise
polyvalente Metallsalze von Fettsäuren in Mengen von etwa 0,01 bis 10 und vorzugsweise 0,1 bis 5 Gew.% zu den
Monoolefinpolymeren zugegeben. Geeignete Salze sind beispielsweise
Calciumstearat, Calcium-2-äthylhexoat, Calciumoctoat,
Calciumoleat, Calciumricinoleat, Calciummyristat, Calciumpalmitat,
Calciumlaurat, Bariumlaurat, Bariumstearat, Magnesium- ·
stearat und Zinkstearat, Cadmiumlaurat, Cadmiumoctoat, Cadmiumstearat
und ähnliche bereits erwähnte polyvalente Metallsalze von Fettsäuren.
Weiterhin können phenolische Antioxydantien in Mengen von etwa 0,01 bis 10-und vorzugsweise 0,1 bis 5 Gew.% zugesetzt werden.

4-Acetyl-ß-resorcylsäure, p-t-Butylphenol-formaldehydharz (in
Zustand A), 4-Dodecyloxy-2-hydroxybenzophenon, 3-Hydroxy-4-(phenylcarbonyl)-phenyl-palmitat,
n-Doäecylester der 3-Hydroxy-4-(pheny!carbonyl)-phenoxyessigsäure
und t-Buty!phenol.
Vorteilhafterweise werden auch Oxyverbindungen in Mengen von
0,01 bis 5 % zu der Polymermischung gegeben. Derartige Oxyverbindungen
sind oxydiertes Sojaöl, epoxydiertes Schmalzöl,
epoxydiertes Olivenöl, epoxydiertes Leinöl, epoxydiertes Rhizinusöl, epoxydiertes Erdnußöl, epoxydiertes Maisöl,
epoxydiertes Tungöl, epoxydiertes Baunwollsaatöl, Epichlorhydrin-bisphenol-A-harze
(Epichlorhydrin-diphenylolpropanharze),
Phenoxy-propylenoxid, Butoxy-propylenoxid, epoxydiertes Neopentylen-oleat, Glycidyl-epoxystearat, epoxydierte «i-01efine,
epoxydiertes Glycidyl-soyat, Dicyclopentadien-dioxid, epoxydiertes
Butyltallat, Styroloxid, Dipenten-dioxid, Glycidyl-

vinyl-cyclohexen-dioxid, Glycidyläther des Resorcins, Glycidyläther
des Hydrochinons, Glycidyläther des 1,5-Dihydroxynaphthalins,
epoxydierte Leinölfettsäuren, Allyl-glycidyläther, Butylglycidyläther,
Cyclohexanoxid, 4-(2,3-epoxypropoxy)acetophenon, Mesityloxid-epoxid, 2-&thyl-3-propyl-glycidamid, Glycidyläther
des Glycerins, Pentaerythritol und Sorbitols sowie 3,4-Epoxycyclohexan-1,1
-dimethanol-bis-9 ,10-epoxystearat. Diese Verbindungen
können zusammen mit Phosphaten oder Thiophosphiten wie
beispielsweise Tristearylphosphit oder die in den US-PS 3 039 993, 3 341 629 und 3 053 818 beschriebenen Thiophosphite verwendet werden. Die üblicherweise zugesetzten Phosphite werden in Mengen von 0r1 bis 10 Gew.%, bezogen auf das zu stabilisierende Polymer , zugegeben.

Anstelle des in den folgenden Beispielen 1 bis 4 verwendeten
Triäthylamins können auch andere übliche HCl-Fänger eingesetzt werden, wie andere tertiäre Amine wie Trimethylamin, Tributylamin, Diäthy!propylamine, Ν,Ν-Dimethylanilin, Pyridin oder auch beispielsweise Ammoniak.

2,0 Mol Isooctyl-thioglycolat (408 g) , 0,5 Mol Äthylenglycolbis-thioglycolat
(105 g), 3,0 Mol Triäthylamin (303 g) und 300 ml Methylenchlorid wurden in einen mit Rührer, Tropftrichter,
Kühler und Thermometer ausgerüsteten 2-Liter-Kolben eingebracht. Im Verlauf einer halben Stunde wurde bei 35 bis
4O°C 1,0 Mol Phosphortrichlorid (87 ml) zugesetzt; die Mischung wurde dann eine Stunde bei 35 bis 40 C belassen.
Das Produkt wurde vom Triäthylaminhydrochlorid abfiltriert.
Der Filterkuchen wurde in 500 ml Methylenchlorid wieder aufgeschlämmt und nochmals filtriert. Die vereinigten Filtrate
wurden bei 1 mm Hg auf 150°C erwärmt.
Die Verbindung fiel als weißes, mäßig viskoses öl an. Die Ausbeute
betrug 532,9 g, entsprechend 98,5 % der Theorie.

2,0 Mol Butylmercaptopropionat (324 g), 0,25 Mol Pentaerythritol-tetramercaptopropionat
(122 g), 3 Mol Triäthylamin und 300 ml

Methylenchlorid wurden in einen 2-Liter-Kolben eingebracht und
in der in Beispiel 1 eingegebenen Weise mit 1,0 Mol PCI- behandelt.
Zur Verringerung der Viskosität wurden 300 ml Methylenchlorid vor dem Abfiltrieren zugegeben. Filtration und Behandlung
des Filterkuchens wurden wie in Beispiel 1 durchgeführt.
Die Filtrate wurden bei 1 mm Hg auf 120°C erwärmt.
Die Verbindung fiel als blaßgelbes, viskoses öl an. Die Ausbeute
betrug 473,1 g entsprechend 96 % der Theorie.
0,25 Mol Pentaerythritol-tetrathioglycolat (108,5 g), 2 Mol Isooctyl-thioglycolat (408 g), 3,0 Mol Triäthylamin (216 g)
und 600 ml Methylenchlorid wurden nach den in Beispiel 1 und 2 beschriebenen Verfahren mit 1,0 Mol Phosphortrichlorid umgesetzt.
Der Filterkuchen wurde in der bereits angegebenen Weise extrahiert.
Die Filtrate wurden bei 1 mm Hg auf 1200C erwärmt. Die Verbindung
war ein blaßgelbes, sehr viskoses öl. Die Ausbeute betrug 386,0 g entsprechend 95 % der Theorie.

0,33 Mol Trimethyloläthan-tristhioglycolat (114 g) , 2,0 Mol Isoocfcyl-thioglycolat (4Ο8 g) , 3,0 Mol Triäthylamin (303 g)
und 300 ml Methylenchlorid wurden in einen 2-Liter-Kolben eingebracht
und nach der in Beispiel 1 beschriebenen Methode mit 1,0 Mol Phosphortrichlorid (87 ml) umgesetzt.
Der Filterkuchen wurde, wie in den Beispielen 1,2 und 3 beschrieben,
extrahiert. Das Filtrat wurde dann bei 1 mm Hg auf 1200C erwärmt.
Das Produkt war ein wasserhelles, viskoses öl. Die Ausbeute betrug
400,1g entsprechend 97,6 %- der Theorie.
Ein Teil des Produktes aus Beispiel 1 wurde mit 100 Teilen Polyvinylchlorid vermischt, wobei sich ein Polyvinylchlorid
mit einer verbesserten Wännestabilität ergab. Ähnliche Ergebnisse wurden bei Verwendung der Produkte aus den Beispielen 2,
3 und 4 anstelle des Produktes aus Beispiel 1 erzielt.

Ein Teil des Produktes aus Beispiel 2 wurde mit 100 Teilen
Vinylchloridharz vermischt, das 60 Teile Dioctylphthalat und 1 Teil Barium-cadmium-laurat enthielt. Das Polyvinylchlorid
zeigte eine verbesserte Wärmestabilität. Ähnliche Resultate wurden erzielt, wenn anstelle des Produktes aus Beispiel 2 die
Verbindungen der Beispiele 1, 3 und 4 eingesetzt wurden.
Ein Teil des Produktes aus Beispiel 3 wurde mit 100 Teilen Polypropylen ("Profax 6501") zur Stabilisation des Polymers
gegen Oxydation vermischt. Ähnliche Ergebnisse wurden auch bei Ersatz des Produktes aus Beispiel 3 mit den Verbindungen
der Beispiele 1,2 und 4 erzielt.
Ein Teil des Produktes aus Beispiel 4 wurde mit 100 Teilen
Naturkautschuk zur Stabilisation des Kautschukes gegen Oxydationserscheinungen vermischt. Auch bei Verwendung der Produkte
aus Beispiel 1,2 und 3 wurden ähnliche Resultate erhalten.
Ein Teil der Verbindung aus Beispiel 1 wurde mit 100 Teilen EPDM-Kautschuk (55 Mol% Äthylen, 41 Mol% Propylen und 4 Mol%

Dicyclopentadien) zur Stabilisation gegen Oxydation vermischt. Auch bei Verwendung der Produkte aus Beispiel 2, 3 und 4 anstelle
der Verbindung aus Beispiel 1 wurden ähnliche Ergebnisse erhalten.
100 Teile Polypropylen (Schmelzindex 0,4) wurden mit einer
Stabilisatormischung aus 0,2 Teilen der Verbindung aus Beispiel
2, 0/2 Teilen Dilauryl-thiodipropionat und 0,2 Teilen
Calciumstearat vermischt, wonach das Polypropylen eine verbesserte Stabilität gegen Wärme und Oxydation wie beispielsweise
bei 133°C aufwies. Ähnliche Ergebnisse wurden bei Ersatz des Produktes aus Beispiel 2 durch die Verbindungen der Beispiele
1, 3 und 4 erhalten.
100 Teile Polypropylen (Schmelzindex 0,4) wurden mit einer Stabilisatormischung aus 0,2 Teilen der Verbindung aus Beispiel
4, 0,2 Teilen Dilauryl-thiodipropionat, 0,2 Teilen 2,2'-Methylen-bis-(4-methyl-6-t-butylphenol) vermischt, wonach
das Polypropylen eine verbesserte Wärme- und Oxydationsbeständigkeit aufwies. Ähnliche Ergebnisse wurden bei Ersatz des
Produktes aus Beispiel 4 durch die Verbindungen der Beispiele 1,2 und 3 erhalten.

Die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen können auch als UV-Lichtstabilisatoren
verwendet werden und ergeben dann Polypropylenmischungen mit verbesserter UV-Lichtstabilität. Gegebenenfalls
können sie zusammen mit Hydroxybenzophenonen wie 2-Hydroxy-4-n-octoxybenzophenon
und Benzotriazolen wie beispielsweise "Tinuvin 327" (2-(2'-Hydroxy-3·,5'-di-t-butylphenyl)-chlorbenzotriazol)
und "Tinuvin 328" eingesetzt werden. Die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen können somit anstatt der Stabilisatoren
wie "Weston 9-3-P, 9-4-P, 9-5-P, 9-6-P, 9-7-P oder 9-8-P in den Beispielen 1 und 2 der DT-OS 2 133 493 der Anmelderin
eingesetzt werden.

Claims (14)
1. Verbindungen der Formel

in denen R eine Alkyl-, Aryl-, Aralkyl- oder -(-CH9) COOR.,-Gruppe
ist, wobei R3 eine Alkyl-, Aryl- oder Aralkylgruppe,
η gleich 1 oder 2, ο gleich 2 bis 4 und m gleich 0 bis und R1 und R_ Null, ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine niedere
Alkylgruppe bedeuten.
2. Verbindungen nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß R eine -(CH9) COOR--Gruppe bedeutet.
3. Verbindungen nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß R- eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 20 C-Atomen bedeutet.
4. Verbindungen nach Anspruch 1 der folgenden Formel

-alk- eine Alkylengruppe mit 2 bis 10 C-Atomen bedeutet.

10. Verbindungen nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß R3 eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 18 C-Atomen bedeutet.
11. Verbindungen nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß ο gleich 3 ist und R» eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 3 C-Atomen bedeutet.
12. Verbindungen nach Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß R eine-(CH2) C00R3-Gruppe bedeutet.
