Durch den vorliegenden Apparat soll das Aufschlagen eines Gerüstes bei Vornahme von Reparaturen u. s. w. an Gebäuden vermieden werden.The present apparatus is intended to open a scaffold when performing Repairs etc. on buildings can be avoided.

Der Apparat besteht aus einem Gurt α, welchen der Arbeiter um die Hüfte festschnallt, und an welchem mittelst Riemen c c ein Sitzbrett b befestigt ist. An dem vorderen Theil der Gurte ist ferner ein nach oben laufender Riemen d, welcher mit einem Haken g versehen ist, in der Weise angebracht, dafs, nachdem der Arbeiter den Gurt festgeschnallt, der Riemen d sich vorn in der Mitte des Rumpfes befindet. Das Sitzbrett b wird hierauf mittelst des an der Schnalle f zu befestigenden Riemens e in eine geeignete horizontale Lage gebracht, so dafs der Arbeiter eine sitzende Stellung einnimmt.
