Description
KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL
PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.
Diese Vorrichtungen besitzen aber den Übelstand, daß sie nicht unabhängig von dem spezifischen Gewicht des Außenwassers sind, wodurch sich Ungenauigkeiten in das ErgebnisThere are already devices for determining the weight of a ship's cargo known, in which a swimmer the draft in a tube ascending inside the ship or shows the cargo weight of the ship. But these devices have the Disadvantage that they are not independent of the specific gravity of the outside water, which leads to inaccuracies in the result
Weight of water taken into account in the bill. The present invention eliminates this disadvantage in that a vessel on a balance beam inside the ship is suspended, which with the outside water in a known manner through a hose o. The like. is related, and its horizontal cross-sectional areas to the areas of each in water lines lying at the same height are in one and the same relationship. As a result The weight of the water in it corresponds to this shape of the vessel in a certain way Relation to the weight of the water displaced by the ship at its respective draft, regardless of this specific weight. The container weight determined on the balance multiplied by the The ratio gives the exact weight of the payload. To read this weight immediately To be able to do so, the ratio is taken into account in the scale division of the balance.
The invention is shown in the drawing in an exemplary embodiment.

In the center plane at half the length of the vessel α in the interior of a vessel on the b hung one end of a two-armed lever, whose other end is connected to a weighing device in connection to the vessel α means of which the flowed water can be weighed. The vessel α extends vertically from the light loading line to the low loading line and is connected to the outside water by a flexible hose c and through the pipe d . The latter is closed by a valve from the deck before weighing. The shape of the vessel a is such that its water contents for each horizontal plane or for each draft of the ship are in a certain ratio to the amount of water displaced by the ship at the same draft. This is achieved in that the waterline cross-sections of the ship are a very specific invariable multiple of the respective horizontal sectional areas of the vessel α . The weight of the water in α is therefore the same fraction of the weight of the amount of water displaced by the ship at any water level. To determine the weight of the load, the weight of the water contained in the vessel α , ie the total weight after subtracting the known vessel weight, must therefore be multiplied by the ratio of the cross-sectional areas. The scales and weights used for weighing are, for the sake of simplicity of reading, produced in accordance with the ratio so that the load of the ship can be read off directly on the scales. The changes in the spec.
The weight of the water does change the draft of the ship, but has no influence on the accuracy of the loading weight information, because it is not the volume that is measured, but the weight of the water that has flowed into α and thus the weight of the water displaced by the cargo.
An dem Gefäß α sind die Augen β für dieOn the vessel α , the eyes β are for the
These eyes are led to the peg f . If the device is put out of operation, the vessel α rests on the frame g.
Is used for the determination of a draft in a known manner a befindlicher h float inside the vessel, which is connected i with a rod on which the draft scale is attached. The float h is guided on a rod k during the upward and downward movement.
