Abstract

The flush mounted current regulator, e.g. operating as a dimmer or a motor speed control, has a potentiometer fixed by a nut to an upper plate and a plastics component to accept a fuse and external connections. The plastics component centre part has recesses for terminal screws and a seat for the fuse whose flat contact pins pass through slits in the bottom of the seat and are held by spring contacts. Two lateral parts are formed on each side of the centre part and each has two spring contacts extending down from underneath to another plastics insulating board below the centre part.
