Abstract

Multi-purpose tool for fixture and loosening of threaded nuts and bolts, in which a spring component is incorporated in various forms in the hand grip. When the nut or screw has been sufficiently tightened, this activats a light source which indicates that the nut or screw has been subjected to the prescribed torque. The tool also works without the usage of the torque indication light, and it capable of being used for nuts or bolts of varying dimensions. The tool can be an open ended, ring type or adjustable tool. Contacts on both jaw sides can provide torque indications in either direction.
