Man hat daher schon versucht, die Einrichtung so auszubilden, daß man das Kugelgelenk nur zur Einstellung in einer oder zwei Richtungen benutzte und den Drehzapfen des Kugelgelenkes in die Stirnfläche des Sensenbaumes verlegte. Bei dieser Einrichtung war jedoch eine Einstellung nur in beschränkten, nicht genügend weiten Grenzen möglich.
