Beim dargestellten Farbwechsel-Automat sind gemäss Fig. 1 und 3 auf einem quer zu seiner Längsrichtung arbeitenden Nadelwagen oder Nadellineal 1 keilförmige Führungsstücke 2, 3 mittels Schrauben 4 so befestigt, dass ihre spitzwinkligen Scheitel 2', 3^f von entgegengesetzten Seiten her zwischeneinander greifen und mit ihren Flanken Schwalbenschwanzprofile aufweisende Führungsnuten 5, 5* (Fig. 5) begrenzen. Je zwei Führungsstücke 2 und ein zwischen diese eingreifendes Führungsstück 3 bilden Führungsnutenpaare, bei welcher je zwei Nutenschenkel 5, 5* nach vorn in einem spitzen Winkel von ca. 28 zusammenlaufen, sich in einem Scheitelpunkt P schneiden und an der Vorderkante des Nadellineales 1 einen gegenseitigen Abschluss finden. In den Führungsnuten 5, 5¹ laufen Nadelschieber 6, 6', wobei in jedem vierten Führungsnutenpaar 5, 5* ein in einer Führungsnut 5 laufender rechter Schieber 6 durch ein Verbindungshebelpaar 7, 7* mit einem in einer Führungsnut 5* laufenden linken Schieber 6' gelenkig verbunden ist. Die vorderen Enden der Verbindungshebel 7, 7¹ sind durch Gelenkbolzen 8 mit den im 4/4-Rapport angeordneten Schiebern 6, 6* gelenkig verbunden, während die hinteren Enden der Verbindungshebel 7, 7' durch einen gemeinsamen Gelenkbolzen 9 mit einer in der Längsrichtung des Nadellineales 1 verlaufenden Steuerschiene 10 verbunden sind.
