Soll die Drehzahl des Gebläses in Abhängigkeit von den Betriebsbedingungen einer Brennkraftmaschine bzw. von der jeweiligen Abgasmenge gesteigert oder verringert werden, so ist der Antrieb des Gebläses zweckmäßig mit der Brennkraftmaschine gekoppelt oder automatisch von dieser aus steuerbar, was beispielsweise mit einer Speisung des Antriebs mit unter Druck zugeführten Abgasen erzielbar ist. Auf diese Weise ist die Kühlung des Reinigungszyiinders 1 automatisch in Übereinstimmung mit der Abgasmenge· gesteuert, so daß sich die jeweils günstigste Eeinigungswirkunr: ergbibt.kung.
